I was scheduled to have a Blepharoplasty on both eyes.It was determined that my drooping eyelids were preventing me from having full vision.I arrived at the clinic and encountered the nicest staff who made me feel at ease. Their kindness, compassion, and professionalism made it a very comfortable experience. The procedure took about an hour and a half.Dr. Latif Hamed is the Picasso of stitching. His expertise at sewing the wound was so precise that the scarring will not be evident. He followed the contour of the eyelid to blend in with the natural fold of the eyelid. My eyes had minimal bruising and only had soreness the night of the operation.Hos God-given skill surpasses all others in his trade. He is the gentlest, kindest, compassionate doctorI have encountered in my 75 years on this earth. It was a truly pleasant experience which inspired me to pen a poem at 3am the next morning. I will share that with you now. God blessed me with a doctor, By the name of Dr. Latifah Hamed; They don't come any smarter, In his profession, he is in demand. He is the epitome of protection, Compassionate, kind, and gentle, So I view him with affection, Now I am feeling sentimental. His skill is transcendental, No scars to mark his work; My words are complementary, At his excellent handiwork. So thank you for being, The best God ever made; I with spread it wide and far, Dr. Hamed tops all in his trade!

Detached retina surgery required within months of
Dr Hamed failed to tell me to stop taking my blood thinner medicine prior to cataract surgery. This resulted in blood Hemorrhaging in my eye. I then went for a YAG treatment during which Hamed told me nothing of what he was doing and what I could expect. I complained about my treatment and his daughter, an ophthalmologist agreed to see me and informed me that I had a bubble on my retina but suggested no remedy.During a subsequent visit, Hamed informed me that I had a detached retina that required immediate surgery. He has the bedside manner of a boar-constrictor.Ironically, Hamed performed cataract surgery on my husband awhile back, which resulted in a detached retina and emergency surgery. We are done with this practice.

Beware...!
Beware of any surgical procedures! Some 15 yrs following cataract surgery, and after multiple surgeries by a retinal specialist to repair the resulting damage, my vision in that eye is still impaired! Wish I'd gone elsewhere...!

Dr Latif yelled
Dr. Latif criticized me in a loud voice at my 1st appointment. I am 67 years old and was in horrible eye pain from an abrased cornea. In my opinion , that was very unprofessional. I had to go back to Dr. Hamed 4 days later to be cleared to wear contacts again. This time my husband came in with me and there was no raised voice.

I a in great hands with Dr Hamid
Dr Hamid sat down and talked to me, he listened and then he did exam. Asked me a few questions and did a series of x rays and of course dialated and checked my eyes. He explained in great detail what was happening and why. I had seen another doctor about 2 months prior and not only did they miss some very important things going on, but the script they gave me was so far off that I saw triple in the glasses.

Dr. Hamed performed surgery on my eyes and his expertise brought me through this difficult time with ease. He is very skilled; very easy to talk to and understand. He walked me through the procedure beforehand and gave me the reassurance I needed.

I was unable to finish my review. DR. HAMED refused to discuss anything with me after he diagnosed me the very next morning. He sent his arrogant brother in to send me to a Retinal specialist. DR. HAMED would not speak with me. HE COULD CARE LESS IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM. Even though the virus entered my eye while he was performing the surgery his Insurance company would have nothing to do with me. REMINDED ME THAT I HAD SIGNED DOCUMENTS PRIOR TO MY SURGERY WHICH PROTECTED THE DR. I LOSE!!

Extremely qualified professional and caring physician. Have been to his office since 1996 and have yet to have anything but positive experiences. He has diagnosed and prescribed remedies for my entire family and helped avoid complications from several mis-diagnosed conditions from other ophthalmologists. Office staff is also very efficient and friendly!
