Dr. Lashauna McIntosh, MD

Awesome! I see a lot of folks complain about time, but she is very popular for a reason! She takes her time with her patients, explains, perfect bedside manner. I’ve been to other places, who ignored and brushed me off, she understands the assignment, especially for BIPOC folks.

Had an appointment scheduled with dr. McIntosh today and again upon my arrival I was told she will be 45 minutes late. Every year the same thing stay away from this doctor's office and this doctor. The office doesn't even give you a courtesy call to make you aware that she's in surgery or that she would be late prior to you coming. For the most part this happens every year but I keep trying to give the doctor the benefit of the doubt and understanding that she has surgery and things come up. However this is unacceptable very unprofessional. I've waited 3 months for this appointment and ask was this a surgery scheduled date before I even schedule the appointment and was told know that she would be there. I take off of work for this appointment every year this will be the last time. It's a shame that if a patient is late we're charged but what do we get when the doctor is late. Unacceptable please don't use this doctor.

Dr. McIntosh was and is amazing, I traveled 40 mins to make sure that I saw her for my appointments and I only wanted to give birth with her. She explained everything to me, she listened and just very caring. Even on her day off she came to the hospital to check on me after giving birth and then literally 10 mins before I was being discharged she called my room to make sure I was okay and to let me know if I needed anything to give her a call. My family and boyfriend loved her as well.

Mr. Mac followed me throughout my pregnancy. Extremely comfortable with the excellent level of care she provided. Had a minor communication issuse with a medical professional and she really stepped in and took care of the situation.
