My wife birthed our (now 11-year-old) son after a traumatic time that could easily have been considered abusive. She and I desired to do things as naturally as possible. Wrong city. Wrong doc. There was a birth plan on the hospital website at that time. My wife filled it out exitedly. Stutts’ response to my wife’s exitement: “we’ll just do things my way”. We were young and poor and naive. He seemed to do everything we did not want and complained at any hesitation to do as he pleased, even remarking “I could be home mowing my lawn.” My wife suffered a fourth degree tear though he documented it as a third degree tear and discharged her with an impaction. Avoid him at all costs.

Dr. Stutts and his entire staff were wonderful to me. He was friendly and easy to talk to. The exam was no more uncomfortable than any other doctor. I am planning to see him next year.

First (and last) time seeing Dr. Stutts. Whether this was based on paternal medical training (or *gasp* religious beliefs), he refused to re-prescribe me birth control without doing a pap first. Said that was the reason you can't get it over the counter. I had been using BC for 8 years with no issues. So would his ideals have maintained for dermatologist patients who need BC to treat their acne? Bottom line is, a pap is NOT needed to prescribe birth control. Don't take it from me, ask around.

The nurse & nurse practitioner are very unprofessional when it comes to follow up & explaining results & additional testing. Both were rude. Dr Stutts called & was very patient & did a great job explaining.

Dr Stutts is great. However recently I started having 2 periods a month and I am continuing to breastfeed. ( My Baby is almost 2) the nurse practitioner in dr Stutts office said stop breastfeeding or get on birth control and I would stop bleeding. She also said my child is getting nothing from breastfeeding anyways. I requested an ultrasound to find many cyists on ovaries and a fibroid. I will not be going back and I will continue to breastfeed.
