Dr. Berman took the time with me to explain what the other doctors just blew off. He ordered the appropriate tests in a timely manner and as a result saved my kidney

Front Staff Nightmare
I was denied access to my provider at Dr Bs office, having been a patient there for about 20 years. Veda in reception refused access to my Dr for a scheduled appointment claiming I owed $30 in copays from 2 previous visits. I showed their office manager my online banking for the 2 previous appointments in which their billing partner RDMG did receive the copays -and the receptionist still denied my medical care. Further discovery after I was forced to contact their contracted billing office and I was confirmed that they have erroneously billed me for the last 5 visits and that they owe me a refund-this front office staff had zero right to deny me access to my Dr for their error.

Words Cannot Describe How Wonderful This Man Is
I've been meaning to write this for years. I have never met a physician as compassionate and dedicated as Dr. Berman. He's always taken such good care of me even when i was in the midst of depression over my previous cancer. Dr. Berman listened to me and set me up with the professionals that he said he would choose for himself or his family. He is always there for me. His happy bedside manner is apparent and his love for medicine shows all the time. He takes his time with his patients and we all appreciate it.

Thanks for being there for us Dr. Berman!
Best doctor that I have ever seen. Dr. Berman is busy as can be but his visits with you always feel like you are talking to a friend. I never feel rushed. I've been going to him for many years and I hope he never retires. He's so personable and practical.

Absolutely Wonderful -Just what the doctor ordered
I met Dr. Berman after hearing about him and his office from my cardiologist who described him as "one of a kind". He really is a good man. You can really tell that he loves his job from his upbeat sense of humor and overall demeanor. He's very smart and i did not ever feel rushed. His staff is so nice too.

He was a nice Doctor for several years. Very attentive during office visits...but no interest at all when my dad went into the hospital and home to hospice from there. My father was Dr. Berman’s patient and after calling 2-3 times to let him know about my father’s condition and that he was hospitalized [thinking he’d walk across the parking lot and pay a dying patient a visit], the Dr. didn’t even bother to go see him during the two weeks he was there. He left me a message saying he didn’t work in that hospital. Neither did my dad’s cardiologist and he drove to the hospital to personally see him before he passed away. I will never go back to Dr. Berman and found another Doctor for my care. He is all about money. My father died in 2016 and I am finally getting to this review as it still hurts to think of how cold Dr. Berman was with our family and especially towards my dad in the end. I will never forget.

I adore Dr. Berman, and his staff. I’ve also seen Kim Noonan, and she is incredibly diligent and caring. I have lived all over the country, and have never had medical providers care more, spend the amount of time Kim and Dr. Berman do taking as much time actively listening and really caring about me as a person. They are genuine & authentic, and I am thrilled to have found this practice.

I have been going to Dr. Berman (Larry) for over 26 years. I was probably one of his first patients. He is exceptional in every way. He has a great knowledge and personality. He takes the time to understand your issues whether physical or mental. His broad range of knowledge has been a god send when asking for a second opinion against what some specialists will tell you needs to be done. He truly loves his job and his patients and provides the highest degree of health management. I could not recommend anyone better! My wife and son’s now see him as well.

Dr. Berman is a rare jewel. His knowledge is only slightly exceeded by his kindness and concern, which is enormous. We just moved to Charlotte 4 months ago. I had some serious health issues that require ongoing maintenance. Dr. Berman, and his talented team, were referred to me in the area. Now he manages all my "woes" for me, and I feel so safe in his hands. My other doctors, surgeons and such, all know him and say he's great. And, he knows the best doctors to refer me to when needed.

We used to go to Dr.Berman's office each time we moved back to Charlotte, however this past time the experience was horrible. We're finding a new physician. The incorrect prescriptions were called in and even after admitting to it refused to reimburse us for the money we spent to pick them up. Then charge for an office visit when it clearly states we have a co pay. After this was pointed out we still have not been reimbursed. They don't seem to care anymore.

Parking is absolutely horrible. Office has a herd mentality. Get them in, get them out. Everyone with exception of one doctor assistant (nurse) have no personality. Good luck getting someone to answer the phone. Not attentive to patients needs and requests. Does not accept any wrong doing and blames other parties. Office staff shows no empathy. I have been without my medication for two weeks and no one is concerned. I will be choosing another healthcare provider.

Dr. Berman makes you feel better just talking to him. Offers practical, easy to understand options and takes time to know you. Not really a hands-on guy, but has an excellent staff and you can usually get a same day appt. with one of his crackerjack LNPs.
