Dr. Larissa Guerrero, MD

Dr. Guerrero is one of the most amazing and talented Drs I’ve ever met (and unfortunately I’ve met a lot). She was my obgyn for both my pregnancies and has gone above and beyond to help me while I search for a diagnosis to some unresolved health issues. I’m very thankful to have found her and highly recommend her.

Dr. Guerrero was my doctor when she was in Cheraw,SC. She saved my baby’s life and mine. I had placenta abruption at 29 weeks of pregnancy. I knew something was wrong that night. I got to the hospital and the nurses were treating me as a regular patient who happened to be in labor. Dr. Guerrero came around the corner within a matter of minutes and she immediately did an ultrasound. When she saw what was going on, she threw the ultrasound machine in the bathroom and yelled for all the help she needed. She gave me an emergency C-section and I had to be put to sleep during this procedure. My baby and I were dying. I am an African American woman and believe it or not, we do experience in racism in medical environments. Dr. Guerrero was everything that I needed throughout my pregnancy and she saw my life valuable. My 1 pound 15 ounce baby was born breathless and floppy (as described in the medical records). Benjamin is now 5 years old. Thank you so much Dr. Guerrero. I miss you so much!!

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Guerrero. My first time with The Woman's Center and I would highly recommend Dr. Guerrero. She explained everything in detail. My procedures went as planned. Dr. Guerrero has a positive and friendly disposition and answered all questions thoroughly.

This was my first time meeting with Dr. Guerrero. She came in with a smile and was very nice. I asked her about something and she said, immediately let me check it. ( Thank God is wasn't anything serious.) She seemed to be a caring doctor and that is something I found as a "great" trait in a doctor. I truly enjoyed my first experience with her. I can only say, keep up the good work in making each patient feel important!!!

She was very sweet and got to the point. Because of being the only doctor currently there, she is very hard to get ahold of and also very busy. It’s also impossible to get to her nurse for questions about previous appointment issues

This is my first pregnancy and Dr. G has been amazing. She listens to me and answers all my questions. I never have to wait for a long time to be seen. I also get calls back in a timely manner. I would recommend Dr. G to anyone.

My overall experience was great. Dr. Guerrero made me feel very comfortable and the experience has me looking forward to my next appointment! Also gives a lot of great information.

I was really nervous about my procedure. Dr. Guerrero made me feel better by telling me step by step what she was going to do. She talked to me about anything so I wouldn't be so scared. She is matter of fact which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend her! Thank you Dr. Guerrero.

Dr. Guerrero is fabulous. She takes time to listen with no judgement. I feel like She truly cares about my well being. She is gentle. When I had a biopsy, she explained everything and in the end it didn’t even hurt! Thank you!

Dr Guerrero made me feel at ease and comfortable with her extensive knowledge of my female problems. She is smart, listens, and gave me logical answers to my questions! I appreciated her taking to talk with me and not making me feel she was rushing to get to the next patient! Highly recommend her.

Dr. Guerrero is the best OB/GYN ever. She is very professional and an excellent Doctor to her patients. She goes above and beyond for her patients. Her staff are also professional and treats you with respect. I always get the best treatment from both Dr Guerrero and her staff.

She is very caring and knowledgeable. She really takes her time to cover everything and she wants to make sure all your questions and needs have been met.

Warning to new patients: I scheduled a new patient apt online months ago for a Fri. in Nov. After waiting 2 months for the apt I was called and said the MD had to cancel and I could see a NP/PA. I wanted to see the MD so I rescheduled for late January. I then found an earlier date available online and scheduled for Jan 5. I just got called saying the MD would had to cancel but I could be rescheduled with a NP/PA. Starting to look like a they just make you think you can see the MD but you won't.

I came here because of the 5 star rating but it has honestly been a nightmare at this office. At 27 weeks the only ultrasound ever done was to confirm pregnancy. No measurements have been taken of the baby besides when I went to somewhere else to find out the gender of the baby since the office claims to not do ultrasounds (even though they did one on my first visit). Doctor seems to have an attitude like she doesn’t want to be here during every appointment and it always seems rushed. Terrible.

There are no words to describe the professionalism of Dr. Guerrero. My wife and my future daughter could not been in better hands. Thank you for everything.

Very professional and caring. I've been to several other GYN for fertility and they have just told me to lose weight and stop stressing. Dr. Guerrero immediately sent me for blood work, scans and prescribed me medication. I will be pregnant in the next few weeks God willing. Thank you Dr. Guerrero. I love you and your staff
