Dr. Larissa Dominy, DO

The practice and office itself I have nothing bad to say but unfortunately when I met with Dr Dominy the first time was not a good one. She did not let me ask questions or take time to see or act like she cared. She left the room without even saying goodbye! Didn't know if I should leave or wait. Not personal at all. Unfortunately I believe this all stemmed from me not wanting my kid to get a particular vaccine. She'd probably love you if you're one to get them all but if you decide to not get one or all vaccines, she will not be the one you want to see. I'm sure she's very knowledgeable but she came across like it's her way or the highway.

Dr. Dominy is a terrific pediatrician. She is intelligent, competent, and personable. My first experience in her office was 3 years ago. She helped me through a season of life where my newborn came early and needed extra TLC. I'm so glad she was there for our family.

My daughter has been a patient here for 8-9 years but in that time this place has gone seriously down hill. The front desk women are always so nice as well as the new cnp, Alicia. There have been little issues I have noticed the past two years but the final straw is that our landlord requested for her doctor to fill out paper work so she could have an emotional therapy support pet (she has been diagnosed with anxiety and severe depression). The doctor refuses to sign it because she "is unwilling to testify in court". First of all, that would never happen. Second, are you that lazy and selfish that the tiniest chance of you having to testify is more important than a child (your patient) wellbeing? Is it that serious that you can't just sign the paper so a depressed child can have some damn hamsters. It's a joke, she's acting as if I am asking her to lie or fraud in some way which I am not. She no longer has her patients best interest in mind, only her own.

Dr. Domino is awesome!!! She’s so good with our son. We love the entire staff at her practice, they are so friendly and knowledgeable.

We have been going to the Gilbertsville Panda Bear office for over 11 years now! We made an appt to be seen, and at the last min had to adjust it forward a bit bc of school related activities. I dont like to do this, but Shelly at the front desk and nurse practitioner Laura were very accomodating for my son and I! They somehow made it work for them & us! I really appreciate their flexibility & thoroughness! My son ended up having an ear infection, and that wasnt even the reason we had come in!

Dr. Dominy's practice has excellent customer service and the on-call doctor is always responsive. After calling twice in one weekend about my son, they called back Monday morning just to check to see how he was doing. She can be a little stand-offish sometimes, but overall, we're very pleased.

Dr. Dominy has been treating both of my kids since we moved to the area 8 years ago. She's extremely caring, considerate and thorough. I trust her implicitly. She takes the time to explain everything and answer any questions we've had. It's clear that she loves what she does.

Great practice. Wonderful staff. Dr. Dominy takes personal time to listen to my concerns. Very satisfied and would surely tell my friends.

Our children have been patients of Dr. Dominy since birth; almost 11 years ago. Dr. Dominy really gets to know you as a family. Her staff is very friendly and outgoing and we've always had good experiences in the office.
