Dr. Lani Fong, MD

The practice was recommended by long-time patients. She didn't seem overly interested in my symptoms or have a sense of urgency in helping me despite the fact that I was having extremely distressing symptoms. I took the initiative to make my own appointment with a specialist who recognized my condition and started me on a path towards recovery. It felt like wasted time and money.

This was a first encounter but we were very pleased. It was to be a brief encounter and was supposed to have been scheduled for longer. Honest mistake with apologies to Dr. Fong. Dr. Fong did not expect to have to meet the issues she did, but once she realized what she was up against, she took over and dealt with them beautifully. My husband had developed a sudden health issue no one had expected in addition to a list he generated. I think she spent an hour with him. She had never met him before, and we both felt that she was exceptional, not only as a skilled practitioner, but as a professional and as someone who values her patients.

Dr. Fong is truly the best provider I have met. She graciously answered all of my questions and thoroughly reviewed my lab results online. She also promptly notified me once my requested school forms were completed. Overall excellent experience and highly recommend.

Dr. Fong was my mother's primary care doctor and I always accompanied my mother during appointments. Within two visits, Dr. Fong reffered my mom to a podiatrist that cured her mobility issues and Dr. Fong also prescribed new medications that improved my mom's health ten fold. Dr. Fong has some of the best bedside manner, is very attentive, and answered all our questions no matter how mundane they probably were. She addressed all the key concerns with aging and made sure my mom's bones, blood pressure, cholesterol were all in check and then addresed all the other problems we needed solved with her other medical issues. She truly cares about her patients and is extremely educated. I see a lot of negative reviews, but if you are making demands that Dr. Fong doesn't agree with, just shop around until you find a doctor that agrees with your diagnosis and will cater to your demands. I witnessed Dr. Fong improve my mother's quality of life, mobility, and overall health.

I was told that my Primary Care Physician would not help me transfer my care for the specialists I go to when I was moving. Doctors like Mrs Fong have no idea how much it costs to go to doctors, and they are also clueless at the length of time it takes to jump through unnecessary hoops when dealing with life saving care.
