Doctor Schumacher performed a buellectomy operation on my right lung in December that collapsed twice in Florida and once here in the Boston area. She said the size of the bellum was 4 inches. The hospital in Florida did not think it necessary to operate on me . Unacceptable!Dr Schumacher sent me for X-rays and did what the Florida hospitals should have done. I had robiotic surgery on my right lung. She removed the bellum. I was Blessed to have had Dr. Schumacher perform the surgery. She and her team of Doctors are a 10 on a scale of five. They were all very solicitous and informed us step by step about the procedure. She and her team listened and answered every question that we had. She is very personable and caring. I Highly Recommend Dr Schumacher and Tufts Medical Center. The Nurses gave excellent care.

I had a thymectomy. I was in the hospital for a day and a half. Three small incisions and minimal pain considering it's surgery. Dr. Schumacher was professional and did a good job. Nurses at AGH were great too.

Very disappointing experience, would not listen to concerns and when did all she could say is "I don't know" My original surgery relapsed and I almost died several times. Did not seem to really care that my entire life has been altered by the condition I was left to deal with. Focused only on the surgery itself not the patient care or aftercare. Poor communicator.

Lousy. Nothing more than a high paid salesperson for expensive surgery to get practice. She will insist on surgery that is not even needed. And then go on vacation while you are alone in a room close to death being watched by inexperienced nurses who can't install an IV, and when you can't eat they then stop giving any liquids and never hook anything to the IV they insist you have. If I had not been sent home I would be dead. 5 hours waiting for her for a fllow up visit. She is a quack
