Excellent and caring physician. As a patient, I could not DISAGREE more with the prior review. She is polite and respectful, reserved but very knowledgeable. I have never had her cut me off, rush me along or fail to answer any and all questions I have. Super MD in all respects!!!

Dealing with Lan Luo was one of the most awful experiences of our lives. She is cold, she does not connect with her patients, she is arrogant and she has no compassion. At many points in my husband's care, she could have listened and made a few helpful suggestions that would have tremendously improved his quality of life and reduced stress. She wasted days of our lives keeping the hope of DBS alive for him knowing that she was never going to approve it and she missed what his diagnosis really was despite being fully confident at earlier meetings. When he was really failing, she never checked in on his status. I would NEVER use this facility nor this doctor and only wish we had made a change earlier. When facing a progressive illness, having medical professionals who get to know you, have compassion and give you enough time are really important. She completely lacks these qualities. BID Neurology in general is too busy--too many patients, too little time with any one.
