Dr. Lakshmidevi Putta, MD

Dr Putta is kind and will listen to your concerns and offer good advice most of the time. However, the staff at this office are incredibly rude and are extremely difficult to work with. I was referred to a type of doctor that Dr Putta and the staff had never heard of and they refused to believe it existed even though there is clear information about it online & I told to seek one out by another specialist! The staff also messed up ordering a vaccine for me, I needed it urgently and they submitted a normal, not urgent request and caused me to miss the timing of it. They then lectured me on how it wasn't urgent even though the doctor had told me it was! Avoid at all costs.

I have been going to Dr.Putta for years and she is nothing but very kind and loving. She follows up personally after every sick check up. She is an amazing human being as well.

I’ve been coming to her since about 2003 I was amazed how caring she was she listened to me and held my hand as I cried telling her my symptoms and what I was going thru she told me not to worry she was gonna get me better she wiped my tears and said no more tears your gonna mess up your pretty makeup.. She’s never rushed me or brushed me off so YES you might wait a bit longer if she’s taking her time with someone else in front of you because that’s what she does she listens and cares and asks questions. I drive from Los Angeles to see her and next year I will be moving to Riverside with no intention of looking for someone closer because a good doctor that holds your hand and truly tries to fix everything is hard to come by.

Dr. Putta has no respect for her patient’s time. I’ve made an appointment with her twice and both times she’s shown up hours late or asked to reschedule hours later when I’m already at her office. It’s incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. If you aren’t able to wait around the entire day for the doctor to show up, then make an appointment, but if you do make an appointment, be prepared for Dr. Putta to not honor it.

Dr Putta is my family dr for about 17 years. She really cares about her patience. She is sweet and kind. I am not sure why some people gave her a poor rating. Yes, sometimes there is wait in her office just because she is a very busy dr. But if you have any problem I assure you will get the right diagnosis and treatment. Dr Putta is a very experienced Dr. she is amazing!

Dr. Putta is AMAZING. There are few doctors left in this world that actually care and trust me, Dr. Putta CARES. I'm 26 years old and have had issues for a while now so I'm used to Dr.'s not really caring or giving the time of day, not Dr. Putta. On my first visit, she didn't even charge me a copay and when I asked her "why not" she said, we just want to help you. I was blown away by her bed side manner, ability to listen, and her investigative approach to medicine. I'm not the type of person to advocate for anyone to work on the weekend, but sometimes life happens and guess who was there for me Dr. Putta. I desperately needed a perscription filled, left her a message, she called me 20 minutes later and sent the script in to be filled. Dr. Putta was there for me and in doing so earned my trust and regard as one of the best doctors in Burbank.

Dr. Putta was physician to my husband and myself starting in 2005. We lived in Studio City for 3 years and she was close. When we moved to Bakersfield, we decided she was still worth the drive. We did that commute until 2016, when we moved to Washington State. We miss her and her caring, kind and knowledgeable treatment. She used to call us in the evening to check in with us occasionally. We recommend her 100%.

LOVE Dr. Putta!!! Kind, caring and helpful. You may have to wait a bit for your appointment but she's worth it!

Very disappointing visit. Dr. Putta was my doctor for a while...i had to go back for a refill on a prescription but lost my insurance she said she wouldn’t charge me and to come in at 12:15 the next day. I show up over an hour before they call me to the front...Dr. Putta even saw me and didn’t recognize me directing me to sign under “new patient” then they said I was never scheduled for a visit and then Dr. Putta said she had to charge me full price and she “must have mixed up” her phone calls.

I’m shocked to see other reviewers call Dr. Putta a caring, informative doctor who listens to her patients, because that was not my experience. After a 90 minute wait, I saw Dr. Putta for a total of six minutes. I went in to discuss treatment for my irregular menstrual cycle and unmanageable allergies. She ran no tests (or even asked about my allergies) told me my severe pelvic pain was “normal” and that she “didn’t have time” to answer any of my other questions. I won’t be going back.
