Professional, knowledgeable, and personable.
My son plays a lot of sports and is prone to ingrown toe nails. This is our second trip to see, Dr. Clawson. She reviewed his medical file and asked how the first ingrown nail was. Very thorough performing the procedure and explaining treatment. I expect another well healed toe in a couple of weeks.

She listens!
Dr. Lacey listened to all I had already done for my issue and instead of saying “let’s do it all over again,” she moved on to the next step! Other podiatrist’s made me feel ashamed of the appearance of my feet. She made me feel comfortable. Other podiatrists have said my issue is weight related. She saw that this issue started after I lost 43 pounds and kept weight out of the equation. I am grateful to have found Dr. Lacey.

THE BEST
Dr. Lacey ClawsonAbout five years ago I dropped a frozen ham on top of my left foot. I finally was tired of the pain and visited Dr. Clawson. She believed it would be a cleaning of the big toe joint (cheilectomy) but also said that if it was bad - it would be a fusion (Hallux Arthrodesis or MTP) So we scheduled the procedure and I had it January 31st, 2025. It ended up needing a fusion - there were bone fragments and no cartilage at all. Five weeks post op - I am still in the boot (typically need a boot until six weeks) but I am THRILLED with the results. After years, I am in no pain and look forward to long walks and really appreciate the care Dr. Clawson has provided.

Dr. Lacey Clawson
I went to see Dr. Clawson because of pain around my ankle and achilles. She was amazing. She showed me my x-rays and explained, very well, what was going on with my ankle. I would recommend Dr. Clawson to anyone in a split second.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I feel it is really necessary this time. She is probably a good podiatrist but she needs to stay out of the operating room. I just underwent a 3 1/2 hr surgery to repair the damage she did to my foot. Toe lengthening , tendons repair, excessive hardware removal and some toes needing to be put back in their sockets. The original surgery was a bunion ectomy and minor hammer toes. My new surgeon said the bunion did heal nicely after her second attempt.

Dr.Clawson did my mothers foot surgery. Told us in advance what was going to be done and what to expect afterwards. They were AMAZING!!! They have gone above and beyond. My mom is on blood thinners and have changed her bandages and have called to check on her (just because of). If anyone is having foot issues, I highly recommend Dr. Clawson. She is the best, along with all of her staff.

Knowledgable, takes her time with patients. She acts like a regular person instead of her highness the doctor. Staff is nice. Surgery went well, a fairly big one, amputating an infected great toe. She got everything done fast, which was important, because it had gotten bad by the time it got to her.

Dr. Clawson took excellent care of my husband with athlete’s foot. His middle left toe was affected with a very bad infection. She did emergency surgery on him in her office to save his toe. I had concerns on a Saturday, she called me back to help me. Her concern, skill, and compassion is amazing.

Upon my first visit with Dr. Clawson, bilateral x-rays were taken of my feet. She explained the diagnosis of my disorder. Surgery was the only option to relieve the pain and correct the issue. I am now 4 weeks Post-Op and additional x-rays were taken. Again, Dr. Clawson took the time to discuss imaging, the success of the surgery and even to compliment me on my part; recovery and PT! I am an active 42 year old female and have no regrets with having surgery on both feet and being under her care!
