Inept
I am the caregiver Dr. Wear’s patient. He is disrespectful to the patient and family, forgetful/wrong about medical history though having the file in hand, apathetic about care and treatment, insulting, and untruthful (covers his a**). I’m not sure when he started practicing medicine on auto-pilot, but veterans deserve better.

I just transferred from a private Rheumatologist to the VA. Dr. seems a little distant when you first meet him. But I believe that is because his brain is thinking as you are talking. What I like: 1. He explains things well 2. He addresses me and my spouse 3. He actually read the notes from the former Dr.- and I have a pretty thick file! I know he did because he referenced something from my history, which I forgot to tell him. My trust in him has grown the longer Ive been a patient. Good Guy!
