Not trustworthy
He writes false statements in his office notes. He was upset because I refused the pain medication he offered me.

Don't bother wasting time
Rude. Didn't bother to explain med or even give me the name of it....after discussion with pharmacist, looked it up online. In 2015 a study conducted in UK and widely reported found this drug to be ineffective for neuropathic pain reduction. And no follow up appointment! Not only apparently ignorant doesn't appear to care at all.

I already have.
Wonderful! I have been in pain forever. He gave me an injection and the day after i was Pain free. Hope it lasts! However he knows what he is doing and it doesn't take him long to diagnose the problem. I was referred by my doctor and am so glad. He is awesome.

Dr. Tokarz is always pleasant and professional. He is very caring and always makes me feel like he truly listens to and addresses my needs. The wait is never long once checked in. The entire staff at the facility are always smiling and have always treated me so well. I would highly recommend Dr. Tokarz for any pain management needs.

I was there before my appointment and he took me in 15 min late sat on the chair he said raise your legs one at a time then he said push up with my toes then that was it never looked at my mri or ct scans did not explain anything to me! Then he prescribe me patches that the drug abuses take never said if you feel a bad difference stop taking it. Well it landed me in the ER THINKING I WAS HAVING A Heart attack!!! Now he wants too give injections. I had quite a few and they do nothing to help with (real) nerve pain. So if your around my age 39 it’s a red flag here don’t expect too much!!!!

Dr Tokarz has treated my chronic back pain (resulting from a lumbar fusion) for almost two years. After several follow up appointments with my back surgeon and no relief I was referred. I remember the first visit as he asked just a few questions asked me to get on the exam table and he performed an exam. He said, “ I know what the problem is” it’s your hip and not your back. I receive injections into my SI joint every 10 months or so and although not pain free (after back surgery almost no one is), it is completely tolerable. I can now work out and even run a few miles during the warmer months. This physician is not extremely animated in his approach which I think can sometimes be misinterpreted as disinterest/ lack of empathy by some people. Rest easy as he truly has the expertise and knowledge to reduce the intensity of chronic pain when other providers have failed to do so. But, you have to trust him. I’m glad I did. Thank you Dr Tokarz.

This man is in competent and unbelievably horrible. I went to him seeking help for my unbearable pain, combined with numbness and tingling that prevents me from sleeping, or functioning on a normal level. After looking at my scans, without even glancing at my written records, he told me I will have to" learn to live with it" . No recommendations, no solutions, just a horrible bedside manor. I wouldn't reccomend him to my worst enemy.

Doctor doesn't care about the patients just the money, could careless about people. Scolds them like they are the bad one. Gives no way of helping out and prescribes mess that a person can't get for a couple days.Doctors KNOW nothing about pain or medicine, that's why doctor's offices are called A Practice.

Dr.Tokarz has been very caring in my therapy. I received 2 epidurals the 1st was unsuccessful. Dr. Tokarz took into consideration how much pain I was enduring and I was given a 2nd epidural which was successful!! I had a follow up with Dr. Tokarz to let him know it was a success and hopefully it will stay this way. Dr. Tokarz was happy to hear this and I am glad I let him know the good he is doing. I just want to say Thanks and I would recommend him to anyone. Thank You Jackie Almeida
