I have been seeing Dr Register for 5 years. During this time my interactions with him have been very positive and feel that he has my best interest in mind when making decisions regarding my lupus and relating conditions.

Does not provide help! DO NOT go to this dr
I am yet another patient of dr. Register that has had the EXACT same issues and concerns as the other negative review posted. I have had 3 positive inflammatory blood tests come back positive for RA that were all performed by his assistants. He is extremely dismissive and has advised me on numerous occasions that blood tests mean nothing. “Tests can come back as positive but doesn’t mean you have RA”. I have dealt with these symptoms since I was in my 20s. I KNOW MY BODY! My joints ache, fingers/knees/feet get swollen, swelling/inflammation can be controlled by diet (I’ve explained this to him many times & it is backed by supportive research), stiffness in body that lasts over an hour each morning I wake up and so much more. During my last appointment he did an ultrasound on my hands and wrists… I had a cyst and fluid pocket on my finger and he advised it’s not due to RA. After doing research I found out THAT is a complete lie! He has placed notes in my chart that state false info!

Dismissive doctor
I began hand pain symptoms in 2020, my PCP ordered tests that showed I have inflammatory markers for autoimmune diseases. I saw Register and he ordered some X-rays which showed 0 inflammation. He said I was most likely just pre-RA and so I wasn’t diagnosed. In 2022, my hand pain came back, so my PCP ran tests that showed I was positive for inflammation again. I saw Register where he stated he didn’t think I had RA by looking at me and when I tried to ask about my blood tests, he said blood tests mean nothing and then said that my PCP shouldn’t be ordering tests when she’s not a specialist. He asked I follow up, but I was discouraged and didn’t think I needed to based on our visit. Recently I have been showing symptoms again, but different ones this time, so my doctor ordered tests, which were positive for inflammation again. So I saw Register and he said I need a new PCP because they’re not pointing me to the right places, then said he doesn’t think anything is wrong with me.
