Not a proactive doctor
Frequently refused to give referrals and treated like a “hysterical” first time mom for legitimate concerns. Too many instances of substandard care to mention. Frequently had to seek out second opinions for routine medical and dermatological concerns that could have been handled in office. Went in for support around potty training and told to not come back as it is an “at home problem.” Turns out Stewart never did a physical exam to rule out a physical issue and my son has urological issue. Glad I switched out. If you go to Stewart you will have to be your own doctor.

Truly terrible care and staff here. This office seems to refuse referrals to specialists and brush concerns off. They have completely failed in providing adequate healthcare for my child and after finally seeing a specialist we should have been referred to years ago, we are leaving the practice. Dr. Stewart also made a mistake in the dosage of a medication one of the APRNs had prescribed, and refused to admit his mistake (clearly did not look at the notes from our previous visit). Luckily a pharmacist caught the error. You shouldn’t have to second guess your child’s pediatrician.

Love Dr. Stewart! Really gives you the time to ask all the questions you want and answers them thoroughly. I make all my appointments with him for my 1 year old girl.

I don't understand the negative reviews. My children have been patients of Dr. Stewart's practice for the last 14 years and we love the entire office. All the providers there, including Dr. Stewart, are wonderful, caring and incredibly knowledgeable. Most of my friends go there are well and feel the same way. An overall wonderful practice.

Terrible experience. Does not follow through with advice. Did not contact us after our son was in the hospital to follow up and ask if our son was ok. Unrelated to Stewart but office manager horrible, was unapologetic about the foregoing and about our horrible experience with their billing company, who sent us to COLLECTIONS because they could not figure out how to bill for a newborn before his insurance became effective (they just needed to send a paper claim!!). Absolutely disgusted.
