Dr. Kurt Olaveson, MD

Dr Olaveson has always been great to visit. He has always taken his time and explained things very well and has answered any questions I have had. He never has acted like he's in a hurry to move on.

Every visit results in a plan to improve health and well-being and I always feel great. It's rare to find physicians like Dr. Olaveson who really listen and articulate a plan to resolve issues rather than just talk about them.

After sitting through my wife's visit with Dr. Olaveson and seeing him ask very detailed questions and how thorough his exam was with her, I decided to change to him as my primary care physician. Now we go in together and are usually there on what they call couples day, since he has many husbands and wife's go in together for their yearly physicals or other stuff. Dr. Olaveson listens intently to your concerns, provided detailed feedback, and creates a great total environment as a "Family Physician". I'm not sure why I'm saying all this. Now I'll have to wait longer to get an appointment.

This is the absolutely worst doctor I have ever seen! If I could give zero stars I would. He is considerate to a point. But every time I have needed help I haven’t gotten zero. His staff (Jessica and Brook) is the worst as well. I am still baffled with how unprofessional, rude, and unkind they are. I worked for a doctor for 7 years and never once yelled at a patient. One experience I had recently if when I was having my blood drawn by Jessica. I have my kids with me and I told her not once, not twice, but three times that he has a disability and doesn’t understand anything and can’t speak. I asked her to move the needle back farther on the counter while she was preparing everything because my son could reach each it. She did not. She also left it there as you turned her back to enter something into the computer. When she started to draw my blood she started SCREAMING at him because he obviously was worried about me. I AGAIN told her to move the needle because he was trying to grab it.
