Dr. Kurt Krautmann, MD

Dr. Krautmann saw me after being admitted to Boone Hospital with a broken left calcaneous bone (heel). He immediately took over my care, procedures, surgeries, and follow up visits. I am in the most knowledgeable, capable hands. His P.A., Lauren, is outstanding! My treatment and care has been the absolute best! I am confident that following Dr. Krautmann’s care and instructions I will recover the best I can.

Dr. Krautmann is not a typical surgeon. He advised me on all other options before surgery was even a consideration. He always wanted me to feel good about whatever decision I made. He performed surgery on my excellent and I am happy to say this is the first time in 4 years I have not been in pain. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Krautmann worked with me to deal with intense and debilitating pain in my left foot. We worked through several treatments - giving varying levels of success - until the only option for being pain free was surgery. I appreciated that he did not immediate jump to the suggestion of surgery. Every appointment I had with him I felt like he spent a satisfactory amount of time with me discussing options, explaining my condition, and answering all my questions. Surgery was extremely successful. The road to recovery has been long (which he gave me plenty of awareness of) but completely worth it. I am pain free for the first time in a couple of years and couldn't be happier with the results. I will soon be hiking through Glacier National Park and Banff with confidence in being able to take such a trip and be able to enjoy it and do the things I want to do. His PA, Lauren, is excellent. She is very responsive to phone calls and also takes time to answer questions and explain things.

This appt was a recheck ankle after 3 month surgery to repair ligaments and tendons. Was very happy to get good news from him stating my ankle was very sturdy. He was kind informative very nice bedside manner.

Dr. Krautmann is always thorough in my visits, he takes time to listen to me and makes sure I understand everything.
