I found Dr. Ainsley to be constantly rushed and largely disinterested/ignorant as it relates to men’s health concerns and all over the place. Front office staff is very nice however.

Wonderful doctor! My husband and I both see Dr. Ainsley, she is very smart, kind and knows the medical community here in Williamsburg if a referral is necessary. She watches over our health conditions, Follows up and the staff sees that any “my chart” inquiries are dealt with quickly.

I really like Dr Ainsley. She has been my doctor for 2 years now. I do understand that the office is very full most of the time! I have read a lot of the reviews here and a lot of them mention how rushed she seems to be. She is busy, but she knows my medical history and when I do see her she does take the time to answer my questions and hear what I have to say. I think she's an excellent doctor. What needs help is the office and the scheduling and the lack of another practitioner mabey. And God bless everyone that works there during this covid-19 pandemic!

My neighbor recommended Dr. Ainsley when I was in need of a new PCP about a year ago. For the first time in my life I do not dread going to the drs. She is extremely caring, thorough, listens, asks if I have questions a few times before the end of the appointment and is also incredibly kind to my toddler whom I always have with me. She is also not pushy, she talks through medication options and gives me choices, She is not invasive with exams. She respects my personal boundaries and I have felt respected, heard, and understood each visit. Her nurse, Jamie, is also awesome. She is so warm and friendly and also very sweet with my toddler, which makes the whole appointment experience not stressful for me as a patient and a mom.

I called to make an appointment for a physical, all that was available was two months out so I took it. I called out sick the day of my appointment to make sure I didn’t miss it. The staff and nurses were very nice and efficient. Dr Ainsley however could have cared less I was there. I had a raincoat on as it was a rainy day. I NEVER even took it off for my physical exam....what a joke! The appointment was rushed and she was very disinterested. I clearly would not recommend her.

I was referred to her by another doctor at Riverside. It was always incredibly rushed and she had little to no interest in me or my health, just in/out. When I did have health concerns, rather than address it herself, she very quickly recommended me out to another office, who I worked with and found a much greater deal of compassion and care. I have not visited since (maybe more than a year?) and use Urgent Care when I need. They demonstrate more sympathy & care & take the time to help.

If you are expecting to get in to the office for same day/acute issues-I suggest you look somewhere else. I got out of the ER and was instructed to follow up w/ my doc that Monday due to the nature and severity of injury. The office couldn't get me in for almost a month. The ER set me up with 3 days worth of treatment and meds. Asked for a sooner appt (was on hold 30mins!)-they gave me one 2 weeks out. This has happened several times. Appts. always seem rushed and don't feel like she listens.

I was supposed to be getting a prescription on June 30, 2017. After four phone calls to her office and making it very clear how angry I was that I had been left hanging, as of July 26, 2017, I have yet to receive my prescription or the courtesy of an explanation.

I luckily have only seen Dr Ainsley for my yearly physical exam for the past 2 years. No complaints. Both were scheduled months in advance. The past 2 months however I came up with 2 different health problems. Called the office and tried to get in the same day. After being on hold for quite a while, being transferred to a nurse, I was told I could be seen only 3 days later. Really! Sorry I can't predict my illness in advance! Influenza and Angina Dx.... Time to look for an office that cares

Not personable, overall bad experience. After my first appointment she gave me an AA pamphlet because i told her i like to have a glass of wine with dinner 4-5 times per week. I'm a healthy, successful, 28 year old female who is also in the medical field and would recommend her to noone. Find a more experienced doctor.
