I had 2 awake liposuction procedures. He gave he fabulous results both times. I flew across the US just to see him, twice. His Sarasota office is beautiful His nurse was fabulous and office staff were so nice! Loved little touches like his plush heated robes. I also like he did a video consultation before surgery. He also personally called to check in on me after surgery. He is a true gentleman and very compassionate. Your comfort and pain control is very important to him. He is always asking how your doing and if you feel anything during the procedures. It was a great surgical experience. After having a horrific experience with a previous awake liposuction with a different Dr, I was not sure what to expect. But Dr Hamwi was 100 times better than my previous Dr! I was so comfortable, happy, talking and even laughing through parts of it. His credentials are impeccable! I love that he is double board certified and has hospital privileges. As a former nurse I highly recommend Dr Hamwi!

I started by having a conversation with him 4 months before my surgery. He was wonderful and made me feel confident to work with him for my procedure. When I met him on the day of the procedure , he made me feel comfortable by his manners and was professional. I knew I was in good hands and he did his magic on my arms. The results speak by themselves. And the other care was 100% . I spoke to him each time I did have questions and he took his time to explain to me and gave me more advice for great results and it was what I did. I met Dr. Hamwi in an unusual situation. I came to the surgery center for a scheduled surgery only to find that the surgeon thought another procedure would give me the best results. He went to see if one of his colleagues would meet to discuss the appropriate surgery. Dr. Hamwi made himself immediately available, discussed the surgery and he and his staff made a spot for me the following week. He realized I was in an unsettling situation and with his compassion, rose up to sooth the situation and provide a next step. He is very caring and has great energy. The surgery went well always with a focus on my well being. The results were fantastic as my arms look thinner than I expected. He gave me a sheet of before and after photos to take home. What is a stand out about Dr. Hamwi is that he was always there for me in the weeks after as much as I needed. He was available in person and by text whenever I reached out. I give my highest recommendation to Dr. Hamwi. Skilled & caring.

I couldn’t be more pleased than I am with Dr. Hamwi and his staff (shout out to Chelsea). He does amazing work! I’ve had 2 procedures done by him and he’s a perfectionist. He’s incredibly thorough, asks a lot of questions and actually listens to what you’re saying. He’s honest and will tell you if you’re not a good candidate for something, which I feel is a trait missing with most Plastic Surgeons. He’s a true professional and a really nice guy. Has a good sense of humor too. I would recommend Dr. Hamwi above all other Plastic Surgeons in the Tampa Bay/Sarasota area. There are a lot to choose from, but I feel he’s the best.

Now 6 weeks from the date of the tummy tuck. I am very happy with the result. The seam is very thin, like a thread. The doctor is very attentive, it is easy to contact him and at any time, he is ready to answer all questions that arise during the recovery process. I am very glad that I was sent to him.

My first ever invasive surgery technique and I was so pleasantly surprised. Dr. Hamwi and his assistant (Chelsea) made the whole process easy and comfortable. The most important thing was....the RESULTS! I look amazing. I feel that Dr. Hamway is not only technically gifted, but also artistically! I am so happy with the results and the service of Dr. Hamwi and Chelsea. Their bedside manner kept everything light and it helped me to stay at ease.
