Appointment was rushed ... Didn't want to listen
I feel like, she was in a rush to leave the room as soon as possible. Didn't want to spent even a minute to listen to the patient.

Superb Doctor
I have had several appointments with Dr. Payley. I highly recommend her to future patients. She is professional, yet pleasant. I have had pre-cancerous spots removed, biopsy's, and several skin cancer surgeries. She is incredible concerning surgery and stitches. Her medical staff Chalise and Destiny are wonderful! Dr. Payley is always concerned for your comfort. I cannot thank Dr. Payley and her staff enough! All of you are amazing!

I’m a retired RN. Dr Paley’s medical knowledge and surgical skills are exceptional! Her listening and communication skills are exceptional. I trust her. She will be the only dermatologist I’ll see from now on. She’s earned an A+ from me!

Not dependable
I am a patient of Dr. Paley, saw her several years ago. They cancelled my next appointment in 2020 due to the pandemic. I tried to make an appointment with Dr. Paley today to evaluate some suspected skin cancers on my face, back, and leg. They offered to let me to see a different person, someone trained by her. I asked why my husband can call and get an appointment with her in two weeks, but I’m put off 6 months, and then cancelled and offered a tele visit (for dermatology, right!), or an inexperienced doctor. They said Paley is booked up for the rest of the year, and could I wait until Jan or Feb. Yes, that would be fine I said, but then they said they don’t make appointments that far in advance. What!? You just offered me an appointment in Jan or Feb. So now can’t even get an appt 4 months in advance. Much hemming and hawing and changing of stories during the call. Very frustrated with this practice.

I am giving Dr. Paley and her staff (MA) an excellent review. They were professional, thorough, and informative. I was especially impressed with the MA's knowledge when I asked about medications. I am an RN and know when I see a competent, knowledgable doctor. I was also impressed at how the staff was aware of safety measures during this trying time (Corona virus). They offered patients the option to stay in their car until it was their turn to be called in to see the doctor. A temperature was obtained BEFORE I was allowed in to an exam room. The staff were properly "masked and gloved" and the exam tables were wiped down appropriately. Dr. Paley exam was thorough and she answered all of my questions. It was a very good experience.

I have seen Dr. Paley several times for a variety of situations. I usually don't write reviews but when I saw people giving one star based on the patient's belief that there was gossip in the office I felt compelled to comment. I go to a doctor - and particularly a specialist - for expertise. That's what I believe I receive consistently from Dr. Paley. She is efficient, no nonsense and direct. I like that. I have been very pleased with her office, her assistant and her personal attention, information and care.

I thought her competent, but not thorough, for a first visit with this doctor, her screening me was cursory and incomplete. As a patient, I forgot to mention a major problem, there were no leading questions to trigger my memory, now I have to go back and am not sure she will see me immediately.

Obviously gossips about patients to staff. Staff not very professional themselves. Staring, commenting, and giggling with other staff when patient enters office. Dr Paley thinks gluten free is the answer to every chronic condition. If it was, why do we need doctors? If blood tests were so bad, why not call patient first thing in the morning and not at 7pm when only the ER is open. Isn't the most rational thing to do is order more tests at doctor's office? Definitely seeing another doctor!
