Excellent Care (for the derrière)
Dr. Johnson is the first physician in my adult life to not think my quirky personality as off-putting or in any way hypochondriac-like the way most other providers have been. She was not only patient in understanding my need to have my spouse present for clearer understanding and support, she was actually encouraging of such and her demeanor towards me was at all times respectful, kind, and caring without a pinch (no pun intended!) of judgment. Her examination and procedure were also thorough, and explained carefully so that I understood what was happening. (My grandfather saw a Dr. Vignati, her partner, in this same practice back in 2008 for tumor removal that indeed was cancerous, so I do believe I was in good hands all around here) I would like Dr. Johnson to personally see this and know how grateful I am for her excellent care and understanding! The assistant was also AMAZING! Very empathic, listened earnestly, and reassured my nerves.

I did not feel cared for or listened to. Bed side manner was inexcusable. “Quick and easy” laparoscopic procedure turned into something much worse and she refused to acknowledge her errors 30 staples later. Waking up from anesthesia and realizing something had gone terribly wrong she was showing me photos of her children on her phone saying she wished she was with them. I told her a week after returning home that I felt like a truck ran over me and response was “yeah, you will feel like that for a while”. She then told me the scope only cut my vein open because I was so skinny. She had seen me many times prior to this and I wasn’t that “skinny.” She blamed me. Long post, I know. I also know that there is risk with EVERY surgery. My point here is that she made a life threatening mistake, blamed my body, and never acknowledged it or displayed any empathy.

A totally non-empathetic surgeon !
On my first visit for an exam and consultation, Dr. Johnson recommended a laparoscopic surgery for the repair I needed. I felt very confident, looking forward to a quick recovery. She did require a colonoscopy first. When I awakened after the procedure, she stopped by for about 15 seconds (maybe?) and told me that she had 'found something' that would mean that I had to have a full abdominal incision. I became very upset and begged her to tell me what was wrong. Her reply: 'Just make an appointment at my office, and we can discuss it then.' She then glided away, leaving me both in tears and terror. How can anyone place their trust and feel confident with a 'doctor' like her? Needless to say, I never made that appointment and found another surgeon!

Excellent surgeon with great bedside manner!
I first met Dr. Johnson when I was in the hospital and needed emergency surgery. I was an absolute emotional wreck. Dr. Johnson spent time talking to me and then asked her ostomy nurse to come visit me. She also spent a great amount of time talking to me and putting my mind at ease. My surgery went perfect, incision healed amazingly well and all follow-ups have been great. Every person in her office is extremely friendly and helpful.I would highly recommend Dr. Johnson!

Recommended without hesitation, Dr Johnson is excellent. She did an outpatient procedure in the office, that others had failed to correct, in 5minutes, without pain and with perfect results.

I am a Nurse Practioner who lives out of state. Dr Johnson and her staff went way out of their way to accommodate me while I was in town. Her surgery corrected my problem and I was very impressed with not only her surgical skills but also with her friendly and competent staff. She was very responsive to my needs and always willing to answer my questions. I would give her 10 ?? ‘s if I could, She and her staff are THE BEST!!!!!! Great thanks Dr Johnson and staff!!!!!
