My experience with Dr. Hursey was excellent. She was personable, professional, and knowledgeable. Relationship-building seems to be an important aspect of her doctor-patient dynamic, which I personally like and look for in a GP. She did not rush our appointment - which is something I strongly dislike in interactions with doctors as I tend to be an inquisitive patient seeking to understand and learn. I appreciate that she right away referred me to specialists as opposed to the “take this, then come back, then we’ll see” strategy I’ve been dealt in the past. I will continue to see Dr. Hursey and would highly recommend her!

Getting bad she's been dragging me from doctor to doctor after telling me I needed surgery 5 years ago her self now she wont prescribe me pain meds to deal with on going pain. after LMC B and S screwed me out a surgery they scheduled then cancelled behind my back.

New to SC so I've only been to Dr. Hursey 3 times. The 1st time it was very chaotic due to someone just being fired. 2nd time I had to wait 45 minutes for blood work. Then when I finally did see Dr. Hursey it was like a whirlwind still didn't have an exam. On 3rd visit I was sick with asthma and bad cough. I was 18 minutes late due to school zone backup. The Receptionist immediately in a very rude tone told me I would be charged and have to reschedule. I understand rules and would not want to impose on others, but I do feel that it could have been handled better so I left sick and angry. I will not be returning. On the same day and different Dr. I was written 3 prescriptions one which was an antibiotic.

Not attentive, talks about herself rather than inquiring about her patient. An asthma sufferer, she went 18 months and never listened to my lungs. If fact it was over a year before she ever touched me. Nurses provide 95% of the care.

Dr. Hursey has been my entire family physician since 2006. She’s never failed me yet and/or my family. She has awesome interpersonal skills with her patients. Dr. Hursey is thorough, efficient and ver compassionate. To know her is to love her. She asks about your family and she’s talks about her family, her animal kingdom ( lol), flowers and garden which is a personal added touch that makes her a great doctor. You really get to know her as a person and a great doctor. Thanks Doris E Harrison

I switched from another doctor to her because I was not happy with my last physician. On my new patient appointment she made me feel very comfortable, she took her time getting to know my medical history and together we came up with a plan.

She is the worst doctor I have been to. I am changing her right now. I would not recommend her to everyone. She does not give you enough time, and she sudden leaves you, and sends the nurse to explain important stuff. She told me that she is going to prescribe a new medicine for me, and never received it. I asked and asked - and my pain now is going up. I talked to the office and asked to talk to the manager and never received call after they promised so. I would not recommend her.

Dr. Hursey is an awesome physician. I recently switched over to her as my primary care physician after a referral from a coworker. She made me feel valued and appreciated. She made sure that I understood what I needed to do to improve my health and help me come up with a plan. Not only did she care about my health but she got to know me. She is very friendly, sociable, personable, and an excellent physician. And she follows up with you to make sure everything is going well. LOVE her!

She is the most personable yet also thorough physician that I have ever been to. She always makes the patient feel as if they are her only patient for the day. The wait room times are minimal as they seemingly have scheduling mastered and the staff overall is very friendly and helpful. DR. Hursey is certainly a rare and talented find.

Dr Hursey's office is unorganized and the turnover rate is ridiculous. Her staff will have you waiting for long periods of time for no reason. I have been going to this office over 3 years. Giving this office ample opportunities to improve, I doubt I will continue to stick around. As for Dr Hursey she never knows what you are in for. Schedules f/u & prescriptions with no explanation. She doesn't allow you time to ask questions. Thinking skills she's coming back to the room she sends in her NA.
