Dr. Shealey is an excellent doctor. She is very knowledgeable and spends whatever time is needed to discuss the issues at hand. She provides information and options so her patients are able to make informed decisions about treatments. Her assistant, Monica, is awesome as well.

I moved from IL to AZ a year and a half ago. I was lucky to find Dr Shealey right away as the perfect match for my health needs. Having family history of cancer, she had great empathy to ensure to check all my concerns. My recent visit a follow up that again she was super diligent covering all labs and next steps. I appreciate the “human” nature with our appointments. I never feel rushed & feel I can ask any questions. Thank you!

Dr Shealey has been my PCP for 7 years . She is the best doctor I’ve ever been to. She’s very knowledgeable ,compassionate and easy to talk to . She listens to my concerns always suggests the appropriate tests and never makes me feel rushed or dismissed. I’m a senior and feel some doctors don’t want to deal with Medicare patients. Definitely not the case with Dr. Shealey. There is a lab attached to the office so test results come back quickly. She calls right away if there is a issue . I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Shealey to friends.

I asked Dr. Shealey if she would recommend my employer provide me a standing desk at work as a preventative health measure for my back. She refused to consider giving the recommendation for two reasons that she told me: 1 - "It would essentially be a waste of money for your employer to buy you a standing desk." -Takeaway: Dr. Shealey cares more about saving money (roughly $160) for my employer than my future health. 2 - "My recommendation for standing desks are reserved for individuals with a history of back issues, and/or recently underwent back surgery." -Takeaway: Dr. Shealey would prefer that I first develop back issues and/or undergo back surgery rather than recommend my employer spend a small sum of money ($160) to prevent any issues that could arise from sitting at a desk for 7+ hours a day. I warn you, DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR. Dr. Shealey is a perfect example of what is wrong with the medical industry.

It is very difficult to articulate just how bad I felt leaving an appointment with Dr. Shealey. If you are feeling vulnerable or are seeking legitimate, empathetic feedback from a doctor - Dr. Shealey is not for you. She is incredibly unengaged and made me feel really uncomfortable. It was honestly shocking how little it seemed she actually cared about what I was saying. There are plenty of primary physicians in Tempe, please do your research and be cautious in seeing Dr. Shealey. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Honest Feedback... – Aug 31, 2019
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Shealey?
Myfirst time in she entered the room and had a slight grimace/weird smile as though i had offended her sensibilities somehow. At which time she proceeded to tell me how bad my labs were. It all went downhill from there. Her assistant didnt return calls and the whole atmosphere of the place is grim. One visit i was given a bp test that the tech completely hosed up. It was unbelivable. Definitely would NOT RECOMMEND her or this downtrodden office and staff. I fired her.

Dr Shealey lacks compassion and empathy in A huge way. She really doesn't listen to you and is very cold in her demeanor. I'm simply amazed at the way this dr. Has treated me and I'm not going back to this place. Ever. ??

Dr. Shealey is very friendly and attentive. I do not feel like she always has a hand on the door waiting to walk out. She is always very good at explaining everything to me and even fought for my diagnosis when my pain management doctor just kept sending me for repeated tests over and over again that were painful and nerve-wreaking. She is absolutely wonderful and I could never go to another doctor! Thank Dr. Shealey for being such an amazing doctor!
