Dr. Kristin Schumann, MD

My father has been seen by Dr. Schumann at the ER three times, and each time she did not give him the help he needed. The first time we found out he needed help with a severe GI problem after I took him to a different ER since she would not help. By the 3rd visit am sure she was made aware there was a complaint against her by us since for the first time she was more respectful, however despite this and my insistence she refused to admit my father to a cardiologist, this was on May 28th this year and my father finally was able to get a echocardiogram on the 18th of June, and by the 20th I found out I was right, he indeed had a heart issue, his heart is beating too slow and he is now being treated for it, he would have been treated for it nearly a month ago had she done her job and he would not be suffering the chronic shortness of breath all this time.

Dr. Schumann was absolutely the rudest professional that I have ever met. She demonstrates zero tact and consideration for my mother as her patient in the Baptist South ER. Very disappointing bedside manner. "
