Dr Cook is a brilliant, gifted and a patient surgeon. Explained all surgery details. Answered all of my questions. Returned my calls timely.

Dr. Cook took the time to explain each step of the diagnostic and treatment process to my mother and patiently waited while we all processed it and repeated the plan back to her. We had a few options - she laid them out in “English” and steered us to the best decision. Overall a compassionate and competent doc that we are happy to recommend and will be using again should the need arise.

Dr. Cook visited me during my admittance to the Emergency Room at Hackensack Medical Center. She was very thorough and answered all my questions. She cleared me for release however never noted that information on my chart. Took me over three hours to sign a release taking responsibility for my discharge. To add insult to injury, I had to pay for parking since the hospital did not authorize the discharge. Upon receiving the bill and trying to explain to her staff that the right thing to do is to adjust the balance, regardless of the agreement they worked out with my insurance company, I'm told Dr. Cook had nothing to do with that, this is what you owe for her services. So basically what they told me is your time and inconvenience caused by Dr. Cook's oversight does not matter, this is what you owe for her services. My requests to have Dr. Cook call me at her convenience were denied. The absolute bottom of the barrel in customer service.
