Dr. Kristi Chang has a Zen like quality that is hard to explain. He has a gentle touch that no other Dr. I've ever dealt with can provide. When she enters the room she has a smile & a gentle touch on the shoulder & a focus that lets you know she is there for you & will give it 100%. She was born to do what she is doing. Bless her in helping me through a Laryngectomy surgery & a very scary time in my life.

I had a very lg. thyroid tumor that had grown into my chest cavity, reaching my aortic arch. I found the very best Otolaryngologist in Des Moines. He called me before the surgery and said I would have to go to IA. City Hospitals or Mayo. I asked for his very best recommendation. Dr. Kristi Chang. My experience with her was wonderful. She is the most caring Dr. I have ever met, as well as being an extraordinary surgeon. She took away all of my reservations with her knowledgeable demeanor.

Dr. Chang is an amazing doctor in that she is instantly credible and makes it a point to intentionally look you in the eye when she talks to you. She is thorough to the point and knows her stuff. Love having her has my specialist. I truly feel taken care of.
