Rushs visits, refuses to prescribe
Most recently went there for a simple visit. She was in the room and spoke to me for maybe 4 minutes, but I was later billed for an extra long visit. She referred me to a couple of places and then just disappeared. Didn’t even tell me what the referrals were for. I had to ask the nurse. It’s hard to get her to prescribe any sort of medication. She treated me like I was a drug addict. Specifically said that she doesn’t want to prescribe me anything because she doesn’t want me to get addicted. So the alternative is for me just to suffer? I have chronic pain. She def pushes her own beliefs onto people and doesn’t care how you physically feel.

No Concern for Patients
I saw Dr. Flemmer 2 times and while I endured them it was far from pleasant. She refused to prescribe a psych medication that had been prescribed by a Psychiatrist. In Jan. 2024 she said I needed to see her before she would refill 2 other Psych meds. They set my appt for March 24. A week before 'They' canceled and rebooked me for May 6th. Right before they canceled again, rescheduled me for May 13. At that time I had been without medication for 7 days cold turkey. At my appointment I made it through 2 min when she said 'It's your fault' and I had a meltdown (episode) for the next hour. Uncontrollable crying. She really got mad when I said I will be getting a new Dr. and had read her reviews. She said she was getting a supervisor. The supervisor was great! He asked if I wanted him to stay and yes. Went on with physical to get my meds. She even prescribed me the tranquilizers to not have episodes (half strenth), got to get her control in. Guess she figured out I needed it. I am 68 yrs.

Uncaring Dr.
I have been taking Tramadol for arthritis and other things for a very long time. First time I seen Dr Fleming she lowered my amount of tramadol pills. I Had a feeling she was just going to make me suffer, by not giving more,I was so right. My feet, my ankles, my knees right hip and on up. My hand are painful also. You know we all get old. No reason to let-persons hurt so bad they can’t sleep. If she read my chart she would know I have arthritis everywhere .No compassion I guess.

I switched insurance and was looking for a new PCP (my new insurance doesn't require one, but I wanted to have somebody knowledgeable who would advise me, etc..). I take 2 medications that a few Dr.'s refuse to prescribe (and for good reasons usually). I had scheduled a "meet and greet", and when I was in the exam room was told I was getting a physical. When I asked her about these 2 medications, she didn't care to look at the documentation (medical records, most recent MRI results, endocrinology recommendations from OHSU) I had brought in, instead kept repeating "I will not prescribe these 2 medications", one of which has been considered a maintenance medication for 20+ years. I was taken shocked that she wouldn't even look at the valid records I brought with me but instead treated this 61 yr. old as though I was a criminal drug-seeking person. I would think that a competent physician would want to know all they can before making a decision regarding a patient's health! Nope. Sad.

She was condescending and dismissive of my health issues. She prescribed me meds for my ear infection but treated me like a drug addict when I mentioned I needed something for my chronic anxiety, diagnosed ocd and panic attacks. I’m on a waitlist for mental healthcare, but any real assistance with these issues until I can been seen would have been welcome. Now I’ve been prescribed an itching medication “that sometimes helps with anxiety”. Encounters like this are why I’m anxious of medical professionals in the first place, and it takes me months to work up the nerve to be treated. I was really hoping for actually care.

Worst. Doctor. Ever. Cared more about pushing her political beliefs and judgement of society on me than helping with my health concerns. I’m disappointed I went to her for as long as I did.

Dr Flemmer is by far the worst doctor I have ever met. She is rude, doesn’t listen and has no bedside manner. I literally left the Kaiser clinic in tears because of her. I didn’t get the answers to my questions and had to make an appointment with another primary care physician. I am glad she is no longer with Kaiser.

I have had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Flemmer. I have only seen her a few times and it has been while she has been at the Kaiser clinic. She answered all of the questions I had for her and scheduled follow up visits when needed. I have never felt that she was rushing out of the room and didn't care about my concerns as other reviews have stated. I have recommended her to other people who I know have Kaiser Insurance and looking for a good primary.

Horrible at her job. Never have I experienced what I experienced with this doctor. She didn't listen to my concerns, no bedside manners, extremely rude, does everything with a sense of rush like she has no time for you. Talks in doctor language when I asked her to explain something to me she looked at my like a was stupid. She definitely made me feel extremely unappreciated as a patient. I have never met a doctor who doesn't like there job or has no regard to her patients.

Did not listen to my concerns or questions. Would not run any tests and was quite rude actually and I switched doctors immediately after leaving and will never go back to see her.

Horrible. She addressed few of my questions, and as I asked another she stood up, and without a word or a second of eye contact, she stood up and walked out. I assumed she would return...this was a first visit, but instead her assistant appeared. I asked her if the doctor was coming back, and she told me the doctor was done....no. I was speechless. I've never seen a doctor who displayed so little regard for me as a person. I won't be going back.

I absolutely love Dr. Flemmer and am sad that she made the change to Kaiser. She listened to my concerns, helped me get the tests I wanted done and also allowed me to have a say in my healthcare.
