Doesn’t listen to the patient. Dismissive. I told the doctor repeatedly that I have pelvic pain and bloating that comes with ovulation. I have confirmed endometriosis, but the doctor kept telling me my issue sounds gastrointestinal. She ordered an ultrasound. We discussed beforehand that I would not be comfortable taking hormone treatments if gyno issues were found, based on my previous experiences. Fibroids were found and listed as large in ultrasound report, so I scheduled a follow up appointment. I was charged $105 for the doctor to tell me that my fibroids are medium (contradictory to report) and not causing me pain. She then suggested hormonal treatments, what I had already made clear I was not comfortable with. The doctor seemed frustrated when I reminded her of this and rudely asked me what I wanted then. It felt like I was duped into paying for an additional office visit. This doctor made me feel unheard and taken advantage of financially with unnecessary office visits.

Arrived 10 min late to appt, tornadoes and power outages hours before. There is no parking and our first time to office. Arrive TEN minutes late with a sick little girl. After taking payment and putting us in a room, 45 minutes AFTER we arrived said could not see us because we were TEN minutes late. Then had to wait for them to return payment. Definitely has no respect for patients. 10 minutes!

I've been seen Dr. Carmichael for 12 years and now my two daughters are her patients as well. I'll tell you this, If I didn't believe she was a top notch doctor, my own children would not be seeing her. I forget to right reviews unless I'm unhappy about something, so I'm trying to change that habit. Here is a good review to recognize someone who is providing excellent care.

I recently moved from California and found out I was pregnant. I saw Dr. Carmichael for the first time last week and I am so happy. The front office staff was friendly. The sonographer was a sweet as can be. Her office staff addressed my concerns immediately. Dr. Carmichael was very friendly and personable. I was able to get referrals to two other specialist that I needed. I highly recommend her!

I am a healthcare professional myself. I've been practicing for over 20 years. I really appreciated Dr. Carmichael's bedside manner and attention to detail. I would recommend her to my family and friends, I actually have. She's very nice and took the time to answer my questions. I did not feel rushed. I felt she listened to my concerns and had a plan to treat my condition. I am very happy with Dr. Carmichael and her staff.

Dr. Carmichael a highly professional and warm doctor. The new phone # is 972-817-1249.I was getting pretty frustrated because I was unable to get through using the previous phone #, but voiced my concerns to the doctor and her RN. They both handled my concerns immediately and apologized greatly for my inconvenience. I've been in the medical profession for 25 years, and I know transitions can be rough on a clinic. If you have concerns, voice them, these folks actually listen to their patients.

My wife is a patient at the clinic and we have been trying to get pregnant for about a year now. She thinks very highly of Dr. Carmichael and the nurse practitioner in the clinic. The staff is friendly and organized. There's definitely a personal touch that we haven't found with other doctors. We are new to Texas, so finding a good doctor in the area was important to us. Now we are looking for a great primary care doctor. So any recommendations would be appreciated.

The office staff is very nice and prompt. I have had to reschedule my annual visit several times and the front office staff was very accommodating. I was pretty nervous since I have not seen a gynecologist to several years, but Dr. Carmichael is very nice and answered all of my questions without rushing me. Her nurse is always made me feel very comfortable. Thank you for the excellent care.

Dr. Carmichael is an excellent doctor. She listens intently to her patient’s needs and always has their welfare in mind. She is a highly experienced surgeon and a caring/compassionate doctor. Sadly, many happy people do not leave reviews, and many angry patients write very cruel comments. If you are looking for a terrific OBGYN doctor, look no further. I am the RN in the clinic. We have countless patients tell me daily how happy they are with our care. Come see for yourself!

She is without a doubt the best doctor out there. I have never, ever experienced any issues with her at all and in fact, she is so good that she saved me and my child's life during delivery. She has always answered all of my questions before and after delivery. She has never talked down to me or acted like she didn't care. I have never seen anything that would remotely leave me to believe that she is a raciest. I would trust her with my entire family, she is beyond wonderful.

We had an apt scheduled a week in advance. Took off work to be there, moved other appts, and had family coming in town the next day to suprise them with the news. We recieved a call at 4:30pm the day before and were told the are rescheduling us because the sono-tech couldn't make the apt anymore and once more the dr. wasnt even going to be there to meet us! With my wife in tears, i cancelled the apt, but could not call another dr. becuase they had all closed. Worst experience for our first time!

I have been with Dr. Carmichael for years. I recently had to have a hysterectomy, and she and her staff were great. She explained all of my options, and answered my questions. I ended up having to stay in the hospital for 3 days, and she came by every day to check on me, even on her days off. She has a very caring bedside manner, and made me feel very comfortable,

To be clear I was never actually able to see Dr. Carmichael, I only interacted with her NP and staff. However, my whole experience was horrible! I had a miscarriage at about 10 weeks and the lack of professionalism by staff was infuriating. While in the process of miscarrying I called the office asking to speak with someone, I left a message for the nurse and didn't hear back for 3 days! At my next appointment they led with "I hear you've been having cramps". Stay far away from this practice!

I was referred to Dr. Carmichael to get a test after an abnormal pap. Dr. Carmichael was polite and informed me that new studies indicate I did not need the test. I paid an expensive consultation fee for the Dr. and nurse to tell me I did not need the consolation.. She seemed very knowledgeable but I am frustrated that I had to pay a consultation fee when the nurse could have informed me of this news over the phone.

This woman is a horrible excuse for a doctor. ESPECIALLY for pregnant women. I had an appointment & had to 'qualify' to meet her. At my next appointment, due to a lack of communication, I was confused, crying in my exam room. The 'Dr.' swung the door open, told me 'this is ridiculous, you need to leave' TO A PREGNANT WOMAN. She really only cares about herself. You're a number. They also will disclose the gender...for cash. Don't waste your time, do what's best for you and your baby and stay away

We only had 2 appointments at her office. This is our first time, so we are nervous. We were told that there would be an ultrasound at the 12 week visit (our last visit), fiance has PCOS, we want reassurance. We were then told no ultrasound until week 20. We planned to announce it today with the ultrasound, so of course we were upset and wanted to make sure the baby was ok. We were upset, nothing out of the ordinary, she came in and rudely told us to leave and "this is ridiculous." Stay away!
