Would never recommend him. He dismissed me after I had problems after he took out my gall bladder.

Excellent Doctor!
He did a fantastic job removing 3 tumors. I am pain free after one year of excruciating pain to my lower spine and right sciatic nerve. I thank almighty God that this doctor listens. I had seen 5 other doctors and they felt the pain was due to a disc S-1. They were wrong. After not being able to sleep or walk when I got up everyday my life had become unbearable. His professionalism has renewed my faith in medical care. He did my surgery at pacific surgery and they too were amazing the entire staff!

Awful surgery experience
Awful, terrible bedside manner. I would never recommend him for any surgery! I needed to have my PEG tube removed and he walked into the room, never introduced himself, asked who my oncologist was, came to me but just looked at my wife then yanked the tube out without any warning. He didn't deflate the internal balloon, tell me what he was about to do, or give me any post procedure instructions. I leaked stomach contents for 3 weeks after he pulled the tube out. I believe I would have healed much faster if he wasn't so cavalier about pulling this tube. I will never return to his practice

Dr Guenterberg was my surgeon for my hernia surgery and was very informative and professional before during and after the surgery. The doctor came out and spoke to my wife while I was in recovery and she expressed to me after that he put her at ease and spoke to her at her level as if she was a family friend. I appreciated his professionalism and the surgery was a complete success! I would recommend Dr. Guenterburg to any of my friends, family, or others!

I was referred to Dr. Guetenberg by my doctor over a potential hernia. I went to the appointment convinced that the doctor would try to convince me to have surgery, which I'd rather avoid. But I was happy to learn that I don't actually have a hernia and won't need surgery. Dr. Guenterberg took the time to listen to my concerns, and a funny story or two, he listened and showed real concern. I was very happy as I'd convinced myself I'd have to argue against surgery. Thanks Doc! :-D
