I waited an hour, she walked in asked what was wrong and simply brushed her finger under my eye. She didn’t exam my eye or even flip the lid to look at it. She said it was a stye and to apply warm compress. My eye has been swollen for over a week and it was almost swollen shut this morning. I asked if she could inject it with a steroid but she said she would if it was still there in a few weeks. She prescribed a topical steroid instead. What a waste of time. Save yourself the time and see the Dr.Pak instead, who unfortunately was out of town. He’s a great Dr.

Excellent Review of Dr. Patel at Wheaton Eye ClinicI recently had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Patel at Wheaton Eye Clinic for a routine eye exam. I was immediately impressed by her warm and friendly demeanor. She took the time to explain everything to me in a clear and concise way, and she made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire exam.Dr. Patel is clearly a highly skilled and experienced ophthalmologist. She was able to identify and diagnose a minor eye condition that I had been unaware of. She also provided me with clear and concise instructions on how to manage my condition.I was particularly impressed with Dr. Patel's bedside manner. She was patient, understanding, and compassionate. She made sure that I had all of the information I needed to make informed decisions about my eye health.I highly recommend Dr. Patel to anyone looking for an experienced and caring ophthalmologist. She is truly a valuable asset to the Wheaton Eye Clinic team.

Doctor Patel is an amazing provider. She performed eyelid surgery on me in July, and I look great. I had eyelid retraction as a result of thyroid eye disease. Doctor Patel removed the excess fat composites from both of my eyes. Her bedside manner is great. her incision was extremely precise, Directly on the crease, And there is no sight of the scar. I highly recommend her as a provider.

Dr. Patel arrived to my appointment at Wheaton Eye Clinic an hour late and had no apology whatsoever. I explained my four week long swollen eyelids issue but she discounted it entirely stating they presented typical to someone my age. I told her to trust me and that it literally happened over night. But she said to trust her that's how it should look for someone my age. She actually barely even looked at my eyes and did no type of exam. Such a waste of a copay. The next day one eyelid got much worse. But as luck would have it, they seem to be going back to normal. I don't know what's going on with my eyelids but if they don't continue to improve I will find another doctor.

Great dermatologist she really informed me on my eczema and came up with a nice plan that I am comfortable with and feel good about. Great bedside manners and I’m glad she spent time with me and addressed my concerns. Feels good to have a nice doctor to build a relationship with

Dr. Patel is AMAZING! She first saw our son inpatient at CHOA where they found a tumor on his eye muscle. It was a rare tumor that took several weeks to determine if it was cancerous (thankfully it was not) and what exactly it was. She was with us every step of the way from his first MRI, to his surgery, inpatient care and continued follow up. Our son has autism and she is amazing with him! Her bedside manner is top notch! She is very knowledgeable and takes her time with her patients. She is one of the best doctor's we have encountered!
