Not good for shoulder replacement.
I had shoulder replacement surgery done by Dr. Shamlou. I chose him because he had good reviews. Since the surgery myvshoulder has continued to hurt. I went to get a second opinion and found out that he did not properly set the implant. This is resulting in chronic pain. Clearly, his reviews were for surgeries of other joints...Not shoulder!. Do not go to this doctor for shoulder replacement. I was fooled by hi easy going manner but ultimately he didn't give 100% and I'm suffering for it.

Dr Shamlou replaced my hip and did a superb job. It has been perfect for 5 years. I am returning for assessment of the second hip now.

Dr. Shamlou has an excellent bedside manner! He is friendly and makes you feel very comfortable with his good sense of humor. He is very knowledgeable and patient as he answers your questions ... I love that he does not make you feel rushed and does it all with a smile on his face. Excellent doctor!

Dr Shamlou is one of the best Dr's. This man saved my life. Because of him, I am still walking today. I wouldn't let any other Dr's touch me. I am great full that I was referred to him. He explained everything to me and made sure I understood before I decided to have surgery. 100% percent happy

Dr Shamlou saved my life twice! I hurt my back two times in 4 years and both times dr shamlou did excellent work on me. he is so considerate and takes the time with you to explain all aspects of the surgery whether good or bad & what to expect during and after my surgery. the minute I got up to walk after my surgery the pinched nerve pain was completely gone. I can once again walk and do activities with my grandchildren. thank you DR Shamlou I will forever be grateful for what you've done for me

i have had 3 surgeries over the last 5 years with dr shamlou and his work is great. he is always friendly and listens to my questions and takes the time to explain what to expect after surgery. i highly recommend dr shamlou

Dr Shamlou is amazing! Aside from being a brilliant orthopedic surgeon, his bedside manner is off the charts. You instantly feel at his ease when he walks into the room. Armed with the warmest of smiles and the greatest of knowledge that comes from his years of practice, you just know everything is going to be alright. I had hip replacement surgery two months ago & everything went perfect. Not only would I go to him again, I won't go to anybody else. Dr Shamlou is there for his patients 100%.
