Dismissive and poor clinical judgements
Dr. Golestany was dismissive during my family member’s hospital stay. He ordered a medication that led to complications, and when it became an issue, he deflected blame rather than taking responsibility. He often directed conversation only to the men in the room, even when women were the ones asking questions. Multiple nurses seemed uncomfortable or hesitant around him. Made us uneasy. When we asked for clarification or raised concerns we were met with condescension instead of clear answers. It didn’t feel like he was listening or interested in collaborating. Not the kind of vibe you want when someone’s in a vulnerable state.
