Awful
She was very uncaring, rude & smug. I felt belittled and horrible after having her for a Dr. I am so glad I left that practice & now have a wonderful caring Dr.

I liked her in the beginning. Then one day I asked her to fill out the FMLA paperwork that my employer insisted I get and she was so furious that she yelled at me and slammed the door as she stormed out of the room. I never went back.

I have been with Dr. VanIttersum for approximately 12 years. I have never been happier with a physician and I highly recommend her. She is very thorough in her assessment and diagnosis. She is admits if she does not know something and is willing to refer to the most appropriate provider. She knows her patients and takes the time to listen to their concerns. She explains everything so you never leave wondering what she just said.

I have not seen since 11/'14. I liked her when I started seeing her in '04. However, the past couple years with her was not pleasant. She actually closed her laptop and walked out of the room at one point when I was still talking to her. She diagnosed a torn meniscus as bursitis I never got it treated properly for a long time because she insisted she was right. The topper was in 11/14 when she told me they had already seen me 5 times for the same thing that year. True, but, had not helped.
