I can’t believe she has a medical license
Dr. Shah has no idea what she is doing. She told me to see a pediatrician for ADHD because “that’s a problem children have”Filling prescriptions for controlled substances is a nightmare. She has no idea what the laws about prescribing are. She will short you days of medication because she can’t count. She acts like you are annoying her if you have to call for a refill. The only way to get in touch with her is by phone. Before your appointment is over, she demands Venmo payment. Does not give a receipt or let you pay with FSA card. She has overbilled my insurance company by saying that the visits are longer than they are or that they are a different type of visit. No wonder she was able to accept me as a new patient. Nobody with a choice would want to see her. Unfortunately, I had to find a new doctor quickly. Do not go to her under any circumstances.

Really helped me become stable
I’ve seen many many psychiatrists. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder for the past 15 years. Dr shah was the first doctor to find the right combination of medications that actually worked. She knows who I am. *LET ME REPEAT THAT* SHE KNOWS WHO I AM! I’m not just another patient. Another chart. She remembers the last conversation we had. She remembers how I felt last time and makes sure to check in on me before we even start talking about meds. Sometimes our appt lasts 10 minutes sometimes longer. I never feel rushed or dismissed with her. She is caring. Not overly warm and fuzzy but I don’t need her to be. I need a excellent doctor who knows what she’s talking about and more importantly is here to genuinely help me. She’s not a med pusher but she dosent beat around the bush if she feels like you truly need it. I do not agree with the other reviews but it’s everyone’s own opinion. I’m so grateful I found her and I have recommended so many people I know to her.

Dr. Shah is terrible. She does not listen to you. She will speak over you and not allow you to finish your sentence. She will load you up on medication that you don't need.

I am under treatment of Dr Komal Shah for sometime. She is quite considerate with her patients. She gives sufficient time to me to understand the patients issues and suggest medications and further available treatments. In my case during my treatment I lost my job and my employer supported insurance. However she was kind enough to keep treating me with a very reasonable consulting fee which I could afford. As some branded prescription medicines are very expensive she is kind enough to keep arranging samples of branded medicines for me to keep continue my treatment. I have seen couple of negative comments about her attitude towards patients. I am humbly disagreeing with such comments as she is quite serious doctor and listen to her patients and document in her laptop. She is quite prompt in giving appointment and always on time.

What a rude, uncompassionate person, who does not listen and seems annoyed by her patient. Also doesn't seem to understand health issues, I'm amazed she graduated from a medical school. Just what someone seeking psychiatric helps does NOT need.
