She takes her work seriously, and explained the procedure very well

Dr. Cestero did a breast biopsy on me using ultrasound to locate it. I was scheduled for surgery to remove the cancer and Dr. Cestero called me the Saturday prior to tell me she saw something on an MRI I had weeks earlier at another facility. She informed me she saw a "borderline" enlarged lymph node behind my chest wall. The oncologist called me later that same day and said both she and Dr. Cestero spoke and because I had a borderline lymph node AND something suspicious on my chest bone, they were canceling my surgery for more testing. Dr. Cestero did not mention this chest bone issue, so I called back since she was the radiologist. I left 4 voicemails over the course of a week, and she never called back. I left messages with her staff, on her voice mail and nothing. The lack of response after making a determination to cancel a cancer surgery was unethical in my opinion. I would not recommend her if you have any interest in understanding your own diagnosis.
