Messed up knee
So far he has been nothing but professional & sympathetic to my painful knee. He was upfront with me on his treatment plan & I look forward to seeing him again for said treatment plan. My knee is messed up with torn meniscus, torn tendon & ligaments not sure how all this happened must be my active lifestyle...NOT. Old age I guess. I've worked with several Dr's at TRIA for different ailments & Dr Aadalen has been good to me compared to the others I've dealt with.

one trick pony
If you have a very basic injury or need a shot of cortisone, he may be your guy. I have a complex injury to my knee. The entire time I was seeing Dr. Aadalen it felt like a very leisurely process despite the extreme pain I was in. When I saw him I felt that he hadn't even reviewed my MRI's before seeing me, didn't want to answer questions, zero empathy, and when he FINALLY looked at the MRI (apparently while I was in the room) he realized this was beyond his skills and I was basically dismissed. I had even attempted to get some answers BEFORE coming back in and was told I could just wait for my appointment, even though he could have easily looked at the test and known it was outside of his skillset. There was very little consultation or any real advice about what to do next. When I finally found an incredible surgeon at TCO it became clear that these delays cost me dearly and I have to have an extensive surgery to correct the wear from seeing someone incapable of even giving advice.

Dr. Aadalen repaired my left rotator cuff before Tria was established. He seened caring and sincere. Two years later at newly created Tria, he repaired my right rotator cuff. I returned a few months later with issues. After long waits (including him chatting up nurses outside my exam room) he seemed indifferent to my problems and said if I had any more issues don't return - call his assistant. Difference? I had private insurance for first surgery and Medicare for second. Money talks...

I went to Dr. Aadalen for both my ACL/MCL tear and my torn labrum. Both surgeries have far exceeding my expectations in recovery time and mobility. There are additional repairs I would like completed on my other shoulder and knee and will definitely be returning to Dr. Aadalen.

Dr Aadalen repaired my torn rotator cuff in 2013. He did am amazing job! Throughout, he made sure I understood what needed to happen for the procedure to be a success. I regained full range of motion, full strength and have had no problems since. Tria was fast, efficient and patient focused

Not helpful - said my middle finger on my right hand was fractured - told him I was in pain - said I'd just have to deal with it - really? $250 for that?!
