I have a condition which requires generic refills each month and blood tests to check if the medication is working well. I've been on the exact same medication since 10yrs now!! I moved to Seattle area from another state because of which I transferred over to Dr. Bambha. She took time to create a rapport and learn more about my medical history. That being said, her office had followed up with me multiple times requesting unnecessary ultrasound visits which anyone can tell will not yield any material result. While pushing me to get more frequent blood work and ultrasounds done, one of the nurses did day - what's the harm in getting it done for the paperwork if the insurance pays for it!! Seems to me that University of Washington is trying to make make as much money as they can from their patients.
