Fantastic doctor! I drove from Waterbury to Endfield and the drive was worth it. Very thorough examination and very detailed. She was able to easily explain to me all the details and also schedule a follow up. I highly recommend!

Dr. Lucey and her staff are great. My sister had surgery on her cateracts about 5 years ago and everything went so well why would I go to someone else for my cateract surgery? My surgery was a bit different but everything from procedure to cost, etc. was explained up front. Surgery and post op went well and I'm a happy camper! I can see without glasses. Outstanding doctor

I had Dr. Lucey conduct my cataract surgery recently where she used the new Eyhance Intraocular Lens to correct my issues. Dr. Lucey and her staff were extremely professional and explained the entire process to me so that I fully understood what was going to happen and the healing process. I gained significant corrected vision in both my mid-rang as well as my reading distance with this procedure. The entire experience was outstanding and I would highly recommend this practice to anyone considering corrective eye surgery and these lenses.

Dr Lucey and her staff are extremely professional and kind. They were all (Dr Lucey, her office staff, surgery center staff) very patient with me as I was very anxious about cataract surgery. They explained the procedure and the before and after treatment clearly and concisely. The removal of my cataract and the lens implants were a huge success!

So, it goes without saying that when I found out from my Ophthalmologist, Dr Kimberly Lucey that I had cataracts that needed attention and surgery, I was more than a bit uneasy about letting someone operate on my eyes. (My sister in law is not fond of medical procedures but she had/has nothing but praise for Doctor Lucey and the ease of the procedure). Well, my condition continued to deteriorate and with the help, assurances and guidance of Dr Lucey I had the procedure done. I cannot say enough about the positive results that I experienced. There was no pain and Dr Lucey was highly skillful. She was supportive, instructive and sensitive to my concerns. I just wanted to share my experience with Dr. Kimberly Ann Lucy and her very professional staff. I arrived at about 12:55 pm for a 1:00 pm appointment - I was taken exactly on time. The staff both men and women are very professional and make you feel welcome, whether it is the person greeting you, or the person doing the preliminary exam. Dr. Lucey is totally thorough. She asked questions and proceeded with her examination. Some of the questins she asked where if anyone ever mentioned certain things that she found. I can tell you about my visit, if anyone is looking for a highly skilled Ophthalmologist, call her office. Sh is the best. Wait for your appointment - they will get you in as soon as they can. You want the best for your eyes, you only get 1 set. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! Happy Thanksgiving to Dr. Lucey and her staff.

Excellent provider Having been a patient for over 25 years brought the discovery of a very small "freckle" on my retina to actually be an ocular melanoma. If Doctor Lucey had not been so thorough it may not have been noticed so early and treated.

In 2013 I experienced eye pain. After several misdiagnosis (as pink eye) I found my way to Dr. Lucey’s office. She quickly identified the true problem and began treatment. It took a while but the problem went away. Since then I have had annual appointments and wouldn’t trust my eyes to anyone other than Dr. Lucey. In 2018 my issue reoccurred. Because I was familiar with the symptoms I made an appointment right away. DR. Lucey was able to a start treatment and resolve the problem in no time. After resolving the issue the second time we decided to see if there was an underlying cause. We went down several paths. Dr. Lucey was with me the entire time. She was offing advice, reviewing results and consulting with other physicians. She was helpful, comforting and very thorough. Again, wouldn’t trust anyone else with my eyes.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Lucey for about 20 years and we continue to be impressed by her compassion, knowledge, thoroughness, professionalism and kindness. When it came time for my husband to have cataract surgery, we were confident that the outcome would be successful. There is no one more eye phobic than I am, and both Dr. Lucey and her staff were very patient with me. Every question was answered with thoughtfulness and thoroughness. We felt as if we were her most valuable patients. We are blessed.

Dr. Lucey performed cataract surgery on my left eye. She inserted Tori'c Intraocular lens. Now I can see a lot better. I can see things far away a lot clearer. Dr. Lucey thank you.
