Dr. Kimberly Hewitt, DO

I love Dr. Hewitt. My Mom & I have been seeing her for years. She has since left the practice and no one can tell me where she went. Very upsetting.

Dr. Hewitt is a caring, knowledgeable internist. She has been my primary doctor for over five years and she’s the best.

I went for my first visit last week and had a bad experience. Rather than write a review, I called first in hopes of addressing my concerns. However, the office manager didn't seem to care about my experience or want to help me. In my first visit for a physical, I didn't receive correct instructions about how to fast (so I had to return at a later date), I didn't receive the required hearing test as part of my apt, the doctor didn't address or make any recommendations when I expressed anxiety after having my son, and even the very basic measurements they took of my height were way off. The EKG machine wasn't working, and it took the nurse a while to do it. She barely made eye contact with me. Dr. Hewitt was nice, but I left feeling like a number. I called in hopes of hearing that this wasn't typical of experiences in the office, but the office manager didn't seem to care or want to make sure I returned happier. I'll find another physician, and you should too.

Dr Kimberly Hewitt is the excellent, caring and knowledgeable PCP, I wish all doctors would be like her

She is extremely thorough, and even for sick visits takes her time to make sure that she fully understands what the symptoms are before making any decisions. She does not over-prescribe antibiotics, which is excellent.
