Dr. Kimberly Gygi, DO

Dr Gygi is patient, straight forward and has a great bedside manner. She listens to my concerns and answers my questions. She instantly made me feel comfortable the moment I met her.

Dr. Gygi made me feel very comfortable from the moment she entered the room. She is very personable and professional. I felt heard, which I don't find often, unfortunately. The entire staff is great! Cozy, welcoming office environment as well. I highly recommend.

I just discovered her new location. I followed her to Newington and have been so disappointed she relocated in July, 2022, and I did not know where. She has been attentive, empathetic, and wholistic in her approach to medicine in her care for me as my doctor over 5 years in two locations. I will now reconnect with her and add a bit of a drive for my healthcare. It is worth it to me to have a doctor in whom I have trust.

I started out with Dr. Gygi @ Newington. I also went with her to her new office. I was fortunately lucky to find out where she was going (Hartford Healthcare Medical Center 76 Watertown Rd, Thomaston, CT 06787 PH# (860) 888-8091) For anyone who needs that info! She is an excellent Physician, I never have any issues scheduling my appts, or getting back to me if I have a question. She spends as much time as I need.. She is Very thorough and takes the time to make sure I understand everything b4 I leave. Very sweet and careing! The best Dr I have had!

Dr. Gygi (incidentally, an excellent physician) has left Newington. When I contacted Starling to find out where she had gone, I was told they had no idea. Because I'm not quite the idiot they think I am, and because Starling seems more interested in maintaining a patient's business than preserving that patient's health, I am severing all ties with them. If you know where Dr. Gygi has gone, please post. If you're in the same situation, please post. I'm not sure what FOIA recourse I have, if any, but I have a decent blog following, some time on my hands, and a sudden distaste for Starling Physicians.

I just am very comfortable with Dr Gygi! She’s great!! always listening to what i have going on with my health and always taking care of my issues .

Dr. Gygi is the most wonderful and caring doctor. Her lovely personality makes you feel so comfortable and she is so thorough. I always feel like I have had an excellent examination when I leave her office. Her staff, Todd and Nicki, are very pleasant and helpful. Dr. Gygi and her staff are the best and run a very efficient office. Happy Dr. Gygi is my doctor.

Dr Gygi was very personable and knowledgeable during my very first visit. She listened carefully and did not push medicine that I was not comfortable with. She was extremely thorough and I felt taken care of. The staff and office was also very professional and all kind. I will definitely be keeping he as my primary care physician.

As my new Primary Care MD, I have been extremely pleased with her attention to detail with my care. I feel she has been thorough and her explanations of treatment concise and understandable. It has been a number of years since I have felt this comfortable with my DR.

Dr, Gygi has been my center for all my doctors. Everything I do is confirmed with her. You have to have faith and understanding with your doctor. Been a long time but I have found that loyalty with her. She is understanding and has taken the lead with my current cancer and all the other aliments I have. She keeps me centered and on target. She makes you feel very comfortable and makes you aware of what is going on. Her assistant Todd is just as helpful and understanding. A very well run and efficient office. She is not only my doctor, I can always go to her if certain things are not going well. Remarkable, I feel very safe in her care

I have been a patient of Dr Gigi’s since she opened her practice in Newington. Right from the start she patiently listened to my concerns and took my opinion/information seriously. She takes her time and makes sure I have my questions answered. Todd does a great job and is always responsive. I would highly recommended Dr Gygi!

Please don’t let the bad reviews steer you away from Dr. Gygi. She is the most compassionate and invested health care provider I’ve ever had. I never feel rushed, always heard, and not once has she dismissed any of my concerns. I actually look forward to my annual physicals and have so much trust in her to evaluate my health.

Horrible! First of all she always makes me feel uncomfortable. She is never in the office and always takes “sick days” conveniently when my appointments are supposed to take place. Every appointment I schedule always gets rescheduled with just hours notice! It’s no surprise there is never anyone in the waiting room. I would not recommend her at all go somewhere else.

Incredible. Dr. Gygi is the most thorough, compassionate, and supportive doctors I have ever seen. So thankful for her and, if there’s any perk to growing older and facing different conditions, it’s knowing I have a doctor like her by my side.

I'm so surprised to see the two bad reviews. I think Dr. Gygi is great! It's so nice to have a dr. that doesn't rush you out of the office and really listens to you and explains things well. The staff is really nice as well. I will admit it is a little upsetting that you don't get a person when you call, but I've never had a long wait for a call back.
