An Extraordinary Doctor!
Over the decades, I have had several primary physicians but none that have measured up to the competency of Dr. Byers-Lund. She is very professional, skilled, caring, effective, attentive, efficient, and personable. She always calls me about my test results and during our appointments, clearly explains her findings and my conditions. During a recent appointment, she determined certain tests were needed, and a mass was discovered during those tests. That discovery led to major surgery, a cancer diagnosis, and chemotherapy. Her expertise, experience, and acumen were critical in identifying and treating this illusive and fast-growing cancer, and very likely, saving and extending my life. My husband and I are blessed to have Dr. Byers-Lund as our primary physician.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Unwilling to help a military spouse, caused a complete mess with overseas screening and staff is absolutely terrible, they do not ask direct questions and cause run arounds with insurance, they don't change names in their system, don't accept emails only fax which most people do not have, so glad to be leaving their medical practice!

they will drop you if you don't go in frequently
I have an injury and just called to make an appointment and was told that I was no longer considered a patient since I haven't been in for an appointment since 2019. The office staff said, no, they're not taking new patients, and they wouldn't see me because I'm a "brand new patient," though clearly I am not. There have been times I probably should have gone to the doctor in the last few years, but didn't because I was trying to avoid overloading the medical system during the pandemic, so I deferred care. I did call a few times since then and received medical advice over the phone. I didn't realize I had to 'hold my spot,' so to speak. This is incredibly frustrating. I wouldn't recommend anyone bother with this office.

Used to be nice.
She was good w/my kids when we established care w/her back in 2017. I recently took my child back to her in her new practice, and she was very rude bc my child was underweight. Which we are a petite family. She had some valid concerns but could’ve handled it better. My child asked to switch doctors. Disappointed in her treatment of us.

I'm 88 years old, so I've seen a few doctors in all these years. I have never had one who showed such genuine personal interest in my well-being as Dr. Lund has. I consider her a friend as well as my physician.

This doctor made very inappropriate, offensive comments during my exam. She also misdiagnosed my condition. On her page at Sharp she talks about her ability to listen but in my experience and that of another family member it is just the opposite. She is always in a hurry, it is very difficult to see her as she is often out of the office and even if she is your primary doctor you end up with someone else.
