Dr. Kimberly Buie, MD

I cannot recommend Dr. Buie enough. Our daughter had an extreme needle phobia and getting vaccinations became extremely difficult. Dr. Buie and her staff were very patient and knowledgeable. She helped my daughter overcome her fear and build her confidence. She now receives vaccines without difficulty.

Awful office and awful front desk staff and policies. They discharged my daughter from their practice by refusing to see her for her school physical because she missed her annual appointment in the summer, for which we never received notice for. Then they discharged my other two children because we were forced to transfer offices. You can only be as good as the people who surround you, and this doctor is surrounded by awful support staff. There are lots of good pediatricians - send your kids elsewhere.

We are first time parents and Dr Buie is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and great at alleviating our new parent fears. Her bedside manner is excellent and she is so easy to talk to. She is very understanding of the risks during the pandemic and we have never had to wait longer than 5 minutes to be seen. She listens to concerns and responds with sound scientific evidence while respecting our choices as parents and guiding us to make the safest choice for our baby! We love her and will refer all our friends to her.

Dr. Buie was not very receptive to listening to our concerns about our child's health. She was frustrated and impatient with us. We all have difficult days, myself included, but it's important to leave those frustrations aside and strive to provide objective, high quality patient care. I think that if she were improve her listening skills and bedside manner she has the potential to become a much better physician.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Buie. We moved to Nashville, and she was accepting new patients so the receptionist paired us with her. She was always so positive and always reassured us that everything was fine. We were coming from a less than positive experience with our previous pediatrician, but she calmed all my nerves about everything. We are so sad to have to find a new pediatrician due to another move, because she set the bar SO high for us.
