I'd give Dr. Cox ten stars if I could. Knowing this is my second bout with breast cancer and I'm triple hormone negative, the front desk person fit me in after hours so I wouldn't have to wait for an appt a week or two from now. Dr. Cox is knowledgeable, friendly, personable, with a sense of humor. She sat with my husband and me and explained the pros/cons of literally everything. Instead of making me write all this info down, she did it. She had no problem with me asking questions, and explained why she answered them as she did. Her medical assistant, LeeAnn has been a godsend. She checked to see if the plastic surgeon and oncologist were on my plan and had a quick opening. She had a notebook full of information for me and told me to call if I had anymore questions. I feel so blessed to have her as my breast surgeon.

Dr. Cox takes the time to explain options and respond to questions. I liked her immediately and trust her as well. She was gentle and understanding when informing me of my cancer diagnosis. I would recommend her strongly. Her staff is top notch as well.

I really liked Dr. Cox, unfortunately her staff is incompetent and I feel she tries to push her agenda of lumpectomy over mastectomy. I had a great visit with her, but she disagreed with my oncologist. I was more than happy to get a second opinion, but her office staff scheduled me with a radiation oncologist instead of a medical oncologist and then lied to me about the mistake. They have now cost me two more weeks that I could of been treating my cancer! I am now back to square one!

I had to wait 45 minutes and was never seen. I left and when I said I was leaving the staff told Dr. Cox that I swore at them, which I never did. They siad it would be about 10 minutes and I was left in the room for 45 minutes and no one ever came in and gave an update. The doctor was rude and uncaring. She and her staff only care abut money and not patients. In 53 years I have never met a doctor so cold , rude and uncaring and she has a staff to match. the only person who cares is Deanna

Dr. Cox is very conscientious about her patients. Her care for the total well being of me has been unparalleled. She realizes that when we hear the word cancer we instantly become hearing impaired and forget everything said before that. As she talked to me, she was writing everything down on the back of the pathology report and when the visit was complete, I was given that paper. I am more than happy with her. I can't imagine going to another surgeon.
