Dr. Kimberlee Tomerlin, DO

I had the best Dr for almost 25 years but then I moved, I needed to find a new doctor which was not easy when the new doctor would have to fill the shoes and compete which such high standards as my long time doctor. I saw one doctor for a few years who was good but I always felt as if I was settling for less than I deserved instead of having the best, but then I changed to Dr. Tomerlin and it was a perfect fit. She may never take the place of my long time doctor but she is pretty close. She treats the whole person, She is kind and very caring. She listens and is very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a new doctor, I travel over an hour to see her but unfortunately she is leaving the practice for a new position at a hospital and I am very saddened to lose her as my doctor but I wish her all the best.

I was very pleased with doctor Tomerlin at my initial appointment- I thought I’d found a doctor who would listen and value my input and work with me to make decisions about my health- unfortunately at subsequent visits I have found myself feeling uncomfortable and rushed. Doctor Tomerlin has seemed impatient and agitated and I am left to feel as if my input into my own health and well-being isn’t valued. She has seemed dismissive of my symptoms and I left my last appointment with her feeling discouraged, unheard and more anxious than when I arrived. Over the years I’ve chosen to switch doctors many times for various reasons because I believe so strongly in a healthy, functional doctor-patient relationship; however, my experience with doctor Tomerlin has been one of the most disappointing experiences with a primary care physician I’ve had to date.

Dr. Tomerlin is one of the nicest and caring doctors I've ever had! She and her staff spent well over an hour with me on my first appointment, going over my medical history and learning about me as an individual. She is very easy to talk to and listens to everything you have to say. I never feel rushed when I'm in the office. Her staff is always pleasant! I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Tomerlin!

Dr. Tomerlin is hands down the best doctor I have ever had. She is extremely conciencious: always on time, listens, and makes the best recommendations. Also her nurse and office staff are extremely nice!

I happened to find Dr. Tomerlin when making an appointment for a new doctor after relocating to the area; she was accepting new patients and I am so happy to have found her. She is awesome! She is on time, really listens to the patient, makes her recommendation and THEN explains the rationale behind her decision - what a concept! She is the best doctor I have ever had - hands down! She really cares about her patients and it comes through 100%. I am so thankful to be in Dr. Tomerlin’s care!

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Tomerlin for a new patient visit. She was very thorough in obtaining a complete medical history, assessing my current complaint, and discussing my treatments/medications. Together we discussed a follow-up plan that I am comfortable with. Dr. Tomerlin answered all of my questions and gave clear explanations. She has a caring, pleasant manner, and I look forward to having her as my internist.
