Short Zoom visit. He over-prescribed me medication and then left me in the lurch when I needed refills. I had to stop taking 40mg cold turkey. Worst psychiatrist ever, please please please, if you want to avoid a psychotic break don't see this doctor.

I have been seeing Dr Kimball Ladien MD, almost 13 years and have been medic-aided for schizo-effective disorders, have been stable to mention ever since. But he has not ever send me for blood test relating to my depokote prescription medicine. I was hospitalized inpatient for 15 years between Chester,Illinois state mental health hosp, Elgin mental health center, blood test was done either monthly or every three months, he has been giving me a lot of doubts about his treatment with mental health i am started to think he is either to busy or needs to be told by higher authority to take action. i also not happy with his office receptionist they don't answer phone calls all times you have to leave a message and they return you call 3 or 4 weeks later, Thresholds mental health supportive program has not been happy about this issue relating to scheduling my appointments. we need to fix problem.. before end my concerns..we need to investigate for the better of every patients.

Dr.ladien is the worst doctor I ever had!!! I had to see him while I was in one of the worst Phyc wards I ever been in. He didn’t listen to anything that I had to say and treated me like I was just another wack job in a Phyc ward trying to get help. He put me on 800mgs of seroquel witch is godly un heard of and because of uti now have akthesia witch is a serious and miserable side effect from antiphycotic meds that make you scream out and repeat words alllll day n can never stand still.worst evr

He's an excellent Dr. I'm not forced to take any medications, because he knows I'm very stable without him prescribing any. Many doctors tell you when to come back, usually every few weeks or at least once a month, so they can continue getting co-pays from patients, but Dr Ladien asks me when I would like to come back, which is usually only 3 times a year. He was very supportive during my pregnancy, something all mothers need. I think he's very professional & nice & can be funny too
