Dr. Khoi Du, MD

Met with Dr. Du in August 2024 and had my inguinal hernia repair at the end of August. I was a little apprehensive, but he explained the procedure and the necessity for it. I was worried about complications with a mesh, but he explained the complication rate was very low. Had the surgery and I'm so glad I did. Dr. Du repaired the hernia and reinforced the opposite side, so I won't have an issue there in the future. Very little pain. I did not even need the pain medication they prescribed. After about 8 weeks, I forgot I ever had the surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Du for this type procedure.

DO NOT CHOOSE THIS DOCTOR! My mother had surgery on Tuesday. We were discharged on Wednesday. After just a few hours of being home she was throwing up lots of blood. We rushed to the hospital and have been here ever since ( it’s now Friday) We have yet to hear from this DR. Consults have been booked and still nothing. We have constantly been asking for answers or some kind of insight and NOTHING! We’ve been asking when the doctor will atleast come give us some info and NOTHING! It is now Friday and he still hasn’t reached out or checked on her. She has been throwing up blood for a whole 24 hours and that should be enough cause for concern to atleast reach out and check but still nothing. NOTHING. I wish we would’ve read some of these reviews before because it looks like when there’s a complication he brushes it off and doesn’t attend to it. This is ridiculous! I will never recommend this doctor!!

May 2022 I had a lapband removed by Dr Du that was out in by a previous surgeon, and to have an hernia repaired or removed. The hernia was not remove and I was told because there was too much scar tissue. Four months later and in sever pain ,I had to have the hernia removed by another physician. For my lapband surgery removal, upon arriving at the hospital and in the OR I never physically saw Dr Du. Even after my procedure. My husband said he spoke with him but I never saw him. Upon arriving home the next day I called to say my incisions were oozing and that can’t be normal. My incisions were glued and looked open and yucky. I was called back and spoke to Dr Du who assured me everything was normal. I called again to voice the same concerns and emailed his PA or whoever they told me to email and never got another response. I went to my follow up appointment to once again not see Dr Du but a PA who said I was healing nicely.

I have not walked into a physicians office in years and not felt shamed and embarrassed.. yesterday I felt a little nervous at first but everyone was so nice and reassuring. Dr. Du came right in, sat down, and explained everything, in such a way that all the nervousness just slipped away. I felt no shame at all in the office.

Great, He has surgically repaired several different issue for me, and I healed quickly. I have recommended him to several of my friends. He is very knowledgeable, a good guy, and has a good sense of humor too.

Got Dr. Du's name from friend of mine. Office staff , PA, and nurses were all great. Liked Dr. Du's bedside manner. Friendly, professional and thorough. Always felt like he was in the moment and attentive to our conversation.

I had surgery with Dr. Du on 10/13/20 and his care , dedication and professionalism is been the best . Always ready to answers any question of concerns . His team is also great, I feel very secure and in good hands with him . I have to say I give him a 100+ .

I first came to Dr. Du in 2011 he is such a caring & passionate Dr. I feel he is God sent he’s very knowledgeable & takes time to explain in great detail about procedure your having & he makes you feel more comfortable in having the surgery. His staff is very caring & helpful as well. I highly recommend Dr Du u won’t be disappointed with his services.??

Everyone at the office was helpful and friendly. Dr. Du and his assistant were very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Options were clearly explained to me and they listened well. I left feeling good about the consultation and I will be wanting them to do the surgery if and when I have the time to have it done.

I went into the ER for an appendicitis so I had never met Dr. Du prior to my surgery. He explained everything to me and my daughter prior to going into surgery and my daughter said he explained everything afterwards. When I went in for my post-op, everyone in the office was nice. Already you can't hardly see where my incisions were. If I was younger and cared I would be very impressed!

Everybody was friendly and professional. I could tell that Kristina is a rookie. Dr. Du spoke with me before and after surgery, I appreciated that. The gas lady gave me confidence that she had it under control. When I woke up, she said I wiggled around a lot. Sorry!

My experience with Dr. Du and his staff has been great. I needed my gallbladder removed to prevent future problems and everything went as expected. The procedure and results were fully explained and my recovery has been on schedule. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Du and his team.
