Dr. Khine Khine Win, MD

I switched to Kaiser from United Healthcare in 2022 (I was dissatisfied with my former doctor). I have had two positive experiences with Kaiser so far this year. First, before I could get in to see the doctor, I had to go to urgent care on Foothill Blvd in Pasadena (which is at the same building complex as the doctor's office). Urgent care took a couple of hours but I was eventually seen, and I was satisfied with treatment. When I finally saw Dr. Win a few weeks later, she was very responsive to my questions and concerns and requested all the labs I wanted (blood and urine tests). Additionally, I like the Pasadena medical building; it has a nice open-air atrium and many services in-house. Only complaint would be time the time it took to schedule an appointment with the doctor (I think 4-5 weeks). On appointment day though, I saw the doctor within 5 minutes.

She was my primary care for almost 10 years. I didn't visit much because I'm relatively healthy. Called in to make an appointment. Gave the nurse all my concerns and she scheduled a phone appointment a week later. When I received the call, I can tell Dr. Win was agitated. I tried to go over my concerns and she said I had too many and should only have 1 or 2 issues on a phone appointment!?! I'm not the one who made that decision. Then she asked to only give her my biggest concern. When I did, she questioned why I feel that way and I said if I could tell you the other issues, you would understand. After that, she was not very helpful and I was upset. Changing doctors and I hope no one else has to deal with her. Shame on Kaiser for hiring such uncaring individuals. Dr. Win should not be dealing with patients but in a lab where you don't need compassion or people skills.

I met her for the first time since joining Kaiser, did not know there is an office in pasadena. Facility was nice and clean. Nurse was very friendly. Dr Win was very thorough, went over all my past illness, even diseases in family, explains step by step. She seems to know a lot. There is a plaque that said physician of the year in her room. I had a great visit!

Dr Win is so helpful, knowledgeable and nice. I have been seeing her for years. Has excellent bedside manner and she is caring.
