My heart attack was on July 29, 2016. I was admitted to Mineola Hospital and was treated with massive doses of blood thinners, since my surgery would not be scheduled that weekend. I was told I had 100% blockage. Dr. Salhab performed a double bypass on August 1st. I recovered fully and am active now eight years later.

Great doctor
Dr Salhab performed open heart surgery (aortic valve replacement) on me almost 3 weeks ago (11/29/22). He is an excellent surgeon with a great bedside manner. He took the time to explain everything to me. My surgery went well with no complications and i am on the way to healing and feeling better every day. Also, Dr Salhab's team of nurses and PAs were excellent! Thank you Dr Salhab for saving my life!
