Dr. Keyvan Yousefi, MD

A very frustrating and unprofessional doctor. When I originally reached out to schedule an appointment, I was told that he was an in-network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield. He also appeared as an In network provider on their website, although I have been told since he is not in network. This would have been helpful information to know before I booked an appointment. Furthermore, I was for a 45-60 minute doctor visit, despite my appointment with him lasting less than 15 minutes. I tried reaching out to their office through phone, email, and physical mail, but they refused to speak with me.

Went a few weeks ago to see this doctor. He never looked at me directly in my eyes. Wrote a bunch of notes on a paper. When it came to the real facts of why I was there he never wrote them down. Then he proceeded to move my joints without letting me know what he was doing. Just completely without regards to my physical pain and Joint issues. I do not recommend this doctor to anybody.

The front office was untruthful about whether they would accept my insurance. Would not say they are out of network until I got their bill. The doctor was mediocre at best when treating my osteoporosis and never seemed to be available except when I did telehealth and he was available instantly. The front office person is also very unhelpful if she ever takes the call. Calls go to voicemail and no one calls back unless you need an appointment.

Dr. Yousefi is a five star rheumatologist. he is responsive, caring and extremely knowledge. I recommend him to my friends and family with no hesitation

Doctors like this simply don’t exist anymore. Dr. Yousefi could not be kinder, more attentive, or more up-to-date on the latest treatment options in rheumatology. He genuinely cares about his patients and takes the time to listen. You never feel like he’s rushing you or blowing off your concerns. I’ve literally never had to wait more than ten minutes in the waiting room, and his staff are also super friendly and helpful. I rarely leave reviews of anything at all, but I’m going out of my way to do it for Dr. Yousefi and his office, because they continually go out of their way for me, and people should know who to go. Trust me — I’ve lived all over the country and had plenty of different rheumatologists, and they were all great docs, but Dr. Yousefi is on a whole different level. This is definitely the guy you want managing your care if you’ve got a rheum issue. Thanks so much to him and his excellent office staff for taking such great care of me.

Very sad that Dr Yousefi is not signed with Covered California, and only takes insurance that the wealthy can afford. I always thought when Dr's take the oath it was to treat all sick people, not I will take care of sick people that have money! Sad Sad Sad
