Dr. Kevin Wietecha, DO

Dr. Wietecha is always kind, takes his time explains condition and treatments very well. I feel he’s a doctor who actually cares about his patients. He’s honest and direct and I appreciate that. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I’ve been going to Dr Wietecha for years for my diabetes. My Grandmother was also his patient for years to manage her diabetes before me. He is knowledgeable with what medication I can take and what medications are bad for my liver. He’s persistent with getting your diabetic eye exams and bloodwork when needed. Always listens to your concerns and tells it like it is. Even though he has a lot of patients he takes time with you. I gave 4 stars only because of the girls who work the front desk. I have yet to see one girl that is nice and friendly in the office or answering phone calls. All of them act like they hate their job. I understand they’re busy most of the time but that comes with the job description and requirements.

Initial appointment many years ago left me hopeful. Every appointment thereafter raised concern as the same person was never assigned and the person in the room never seemed to know about my health. The last one even acknowledged he didn’t understand the bloodwork I just had done. There was never follow up or follow through. Never made it to last appt because spouse had life threatening emergency and staffs response to rescheduling was remarkably disgusting suggesting I must not be as concerned for my health as I was voicing. Currently with an endocrinologist out of the county and not only was my condition serious but I discovered KW had disregard for concerns voiced for several years putting my health at great risk. This isn’t a place to aid you in bettering your health. They have a system established that is purely a money maker at the risk of each patients health and well being.

NEOE is the best office in Canton for Insulin Pump Management for diabetics. Scheduling is easy, they listen to your concerns, do diagnostics to find out how to help you. You know when you tell your other Doctors you see Dr. Wietecha for Endocrinology and they say Great we just Love him, you are in good hands!

Direct and to the point. Always takes time to answer questions and explain things.

Terrible office staff. Always making false promises and then retracting them. Good luck ever getting a call through, their line is busy all day every day with no option to leave a message and they never call back with results. Absolutely awful communication between doctors, nurses, and office staff. No one knows what is going on.

I feel very comfortable with Dr. Wietecha.

I decided to write a genuine for real review. Dr Wietecha is a wonderful guy, I assume. Seems to be a good doctor and has always been nice and friendly. However, it is like an assembly line, they have too many patients and now you have to see either nurse practitioners or doctors assistants who only care about your numbers. They do not listen to symptoms because after all if your numbers fall in what the lab considers normal then there is no discussion.

The staff is excellent and the doctor is very detail oriented.

Very impressed with the accuracy of the appointment very seldom do you have to wait.

Appointment's with Dr. Wietecha are pretty much on time. Very Professional in business and appearance. Cares about his patients (no matter what insurance). Has a very good reputation in the Stark county area

Nurse Fritz was thorough, informed and reassuring.
